What do you expect from players who have never had to have a proper job from a young age, who don’t have to worry about bills and mortgage. Especially in this day and age with cost of living the way it is. They don’t realise how good they have it. I know you can’t do this, but I really believe part of a players salary should be withheld until a later date. Not only would it curb the egos and make them a little more humble, it would ensure most are set up for life post-football

Football players are being held to a far higher standard then most. without the life experience or maturity to go with it.

Melbourne are smart to make anyone coming to their club to do 2 weeks of construction work. Give them a real job and show them how lucky they are.

I’d like to see Benji and Richo take the standards to new heights of previously unseen excellence. And when it comes to singing the victory song I think 1 hour per week should be set aside for singing tuition. In addition, 4 players per day to be assigned to the barber shop for at least one victory song.

Dave could have been one of the reasons we pulled out of the AFB talks? If Dave could take a hair cut on the $1m, say $300k? He can walk with $700k and try picking up a 2 year deal at another club for say $400k giving himself a pay rise of $100k? Or get a job at Brydens as a gofer? He’s got options that Tigers don’t have. Maybe the RLPA can negotiate a reasonable settlement?
I feel for Nofa. He came to the club Homeless, jobless and possibly friendless, a club which possibly provided those things in his life.
His hopes and aspirations have been shattered, maybe his own doing, allowing himself to be a political pawn?

Suggest you remove his image coz he has no relevance to the 2024 and beyond Wests Tigers.
As Shane R said earlier, the past is the past so focus on looking forward. I like that !!
