Lol what? When did I say people were wrong to turn on him?
Do you have a consistent position on this? One minute you're saying his achievements should be respected and now people are right to turn on him. You think people turning on him give a shit about his achievements here when he thinks he's not accountable?

When a bloke has had repeated attitude problems addressed by not one, not two, not three, but four coaches in a row, chucks their toys out of the cot and then refuses to show up or answer phone calls instead of behaving like a senior player, his achievements mean SFA and he can suck it from the back as far as I'm concerned.

Not true, he went MIA for 2 days after missing
training while supposedly sick, the club has a
duty of care towards everyone in their employ,
especially after what happened to Mosese too
I thought he went missing because someone gave him the children's book 'see spot run' and it was taking ages for him to sound out the first page.

I said people need to be able to separate the man from the player. If you want to shit on him as a person, go for it. It doesn’t take away his ability as a player when he’s in the right headspace. Sadly, I think people try to do that

Our club needs players for 26rounds not when they get out of the right side of bed.

Anytime I have done a welfare check I have sent someone the person is comfortable speaking with.
We agree on most thing Cochises, but past experience with WTs spooks me a bit,and there was a very real risk(albeit minor)of the worst case scenario, and its not quite fair to put another player in that position
Hes clearly struggling mentally..we must have someone with a little experience in this area..and after that Douhi drops in for a chat
Our "process " needs to accomodate this possibility, remote as it may be
.Fortunately it all worked out well

Everything is speculation at best. Perhaps douehi put his hand up to check on a mate? Life happens in and out of work places and NRL is about as grey as it comes to life boundaries.
