Dear Buckets

I believe that Buckets is a myth, as Football Manager, he should have been at the Canberra game, and tore the players a new one behind closed doors before they got their pizza and beer.
The players should have travelled home ashamed of their performance, as I was ashamed of their effort when I turned the Tele off

Buckets was at the Canberra game , he was sitting right behind Taylor.

Then as the scoreline continued to climb, he did a bolt.
Maybe he went to placate the sponsors

Also buckets if you truly do read this Forum?

Can you tell the players that after a loss it's not a very good look to see our players mingling in talking and laughing on the middle of the field with opposition players like there's no care factor to loosing the game.

It absolutely makes me mad, at least do it up the tunnel where I don't have to witness there non care factor about them…...It seriously not a good look.

It makes me livid too FT. I want to see real dissapointment on their faces, shake hands and move on, instead of cuddling and joking with the opposition. :smiling_imp:

Mark - always admired your commitment to the Wests Tigers Jumper, you always put in 100%, it is a shame that the tradition of "never say die" has not been upheld. If the ANZACS had shown the spirit of our team (against Canberra) at Gallipoli they would have been wiped out in the first two days. It is a disgrace to even call that Wests Tigers performance anything other than pathetic. There are many reasons for such an inept effort and I do not want to go on forever but…

*The boys club goes on - I don't know about Wests, but at Balmain it existed going back to Latchem Robinson and I experienced it myself. It obviously has carried over and infected the west Tigers as well. IT HAS TO STOP! You cannot be a good team with this culture. I have heard Milone was picked because of sponsors - tell me this is not true, please. The team must be selected on performances and on nothing else. (Not on salaries, sponsors, he knows Joe Blow so he must be in the team etc.).

* Poor performances/commitment must be rewarded with demotion and you don't get the position back until your replacement has a poor performance and your lower grade performance is good enough. It is not rocket science.

* I do not necessarily blame Taylor for our thrashing - he was not on the field. Not sure if it is only him that picks the team; how much latitude he has to do anything (none if he is leg roped like Potter), whether the rumor is true that he has lost some of the players. Did not seem he had lost anyone in the Melbourne game and if he has, whoever they are, they should be stood down. The coach is the coach, play for him or not at all, Farah included (has far too much influence for my liking). If JT is going to be replaced (and I don't agree he should be) - Mr White Anter, Payten should not be allowed anywhere near this club.

* Now anyone with any sense can see that we have been getting the "rough end of the pineapple" with calls from referees, more than usual this season, some decisions were outrageous. Do not expect any more than a fair go - Taylor cannot say anything because of the fine that would be imposed. How about Pascoe and yourself go and have a talk to Tony Archer and Todd Greenberg about fixing this problem. Not just Archer - he would not say there is a problem - Blind Freddie can see that there is.

There are player problems which I will not go into - will leave that for the coach.
I hope you read all our comments and act upon the ineptitude of the team and some of the off field issues so that we as a team can go forward and start winning a few games. Thanks.

Mark - let's start with the low hanging fruit, or "easy win" if you will. Whoever the coach is, how about you don't undermine him in front of the entire team, and then even in the public eye. How are the players supposed to respect and support their coach if you can't even do so?

Mark, thank the players for justifying my decision on not renewing my membership.
Good luck in trying to get me back.

My oldest son who's 14 sent an email addressed to Mark O'Neill and Justin Pascoe yesterday. Just about how disheartened we all are and how underperforming we are. It was well written and he didn't personally attack anyone. I'll let you guys know if he gets a response. But I warned him, by the looks of how mismanaged the Club is, he won't get one.

I feel for the kids that support WT.
It's harder on the youngsters watching their team lose then us older folks… I think!

Hahaha

Since Oniel was appointed the team has gone backwards there is defiantly a correlation between the 2 .First 2 rounds there was a different team playing with a different attitude…enter Oniel the manager of mediocrity play badly get rewarded ..since that appointment it has been a slow decline to Saturday's performance .

How Pascoe could possibly back Taylor after 6 straight losses, especially the one on ANZAC weekend of all weekends is beyond me
At halftme on the ANZAC weekend game the team needed a leader, yet the coach sat clueless head in hand, that should have been curtains for him, that was a white flag on ANZAC weekend what a joke.
Add this to the mind boggling team selections every week, Rankin is a really bad winger, yet he has played all 8 games there, Milone is not an NRL level player and should not have played any games there.
They let in 6 tries down there side on saturday, no surprise there, the coach picks the teams.
MCK, JAC and plenty others need to be given a go, and there are quite a few other players besides Rankin and Milone who need a stint in nsw cup.
No player ever gets dropped, and therefore players are unfairly left in nsw cup while others unfairly are left in the NRL side to keep under performing.
The coach should be gone, and quite a lot of players need telling to start looking for another club, a white flag on ANZAC weekend is the last straw

When I tell someone I support it is met with laughter or pity. It is embarrassing. I understand all teams have their ups and downs but the tigers have more downs than anyone.

The Canberra game was a shambles. Lack of effort from the first set in defence. Lack on field leadership. Lack of passion. Lack of care.

Someone needs to take Te club apart and start from scratch with only Tedesco and Woods guaranteed a future.

I will never stop following the side but with each year that goes by I lose an ounce of passion. What should I care so much when the club and the players don't reciprocate.

Brooks and moses need time in reserve grade, we have enough top squad players to do this and not breach the second tier cap, let them get there confidence up, they say the good halves have all the time in the world, brooks started in grade like that, now he has lost complete confidence and looks like everything is too quick for him. Let them find there time and confidence back then when they along with cherrington are putting in nrl veteran performances in ISP not flashy football but real gritty well structured and team comanding performances well bring them back. If they are the future, they need to begin there apprenticeship now, before it is too late.
We need a tough and respectful administrator that can deliver the message to them that it is the best thing for their future and their future bank accounts if they make this sacrifice now. And while your at it, and your convinced that sironen can be the second coming of Dwyer then let him learn how to play back row in that grade too.

Ban all media talks, no more we need to do this, should of done that, give me silence until the teams performance speaks for itself.

Dear Mark I agree totally with the above post, and most of the others in this segment.

Brooks, Moses & co should go back to a lower grade,( I think they have been bought into the NRL side far too quickly) and they are not coping.
Also DEFENCE, who is our defensive coach :exclamation: :exclamation: :exclamation:
Why is our defence so bad. :crazy The way we are playing at the moment you wouldn't think we had any defensive training at all.
We are all passionate fans/members of this proud club, but we are quite embarrassed about the direction in which we seem to be heading. Thank you.

Mark, I think you should front a press conference with Pascoe and apologise to fans. You have both undermined the coach and backed players and then wonder why these player feel no obligation to play for that coach. We were 2-0 prior to your arrival and have gone downhill since the return of the prodigal son. Less media spin is required and more action, though what that action may be scares me as your appointment smells of a boys club appointment.

We haven't finished in the top half of the Comp since he was 9\. If we all weren't so passionate we'd have given them away by now.

I haven't gone that far, but I have apologized for steering him in the direction of the Tigers. Worst part is he also wants his 2 year old brother on board as well !!!

that brings a tear to my eye Hobbo

I used to make him sit through the whole game even when we are being thrashed .

But now he won't cop it , the other night he made it to the 35 minute , grabbed his doona of the couch and dragged it up the hallway :frowning:

I can't keep telling him that they will come good when there's no light at the end of the tunnel .
