Dev Dines RIP

Noticed a funeral announcement in Yesterday's Telegraph for Devitt Dines, it was surrounded by the Magpies emblems, so I thought I should look up his playing history.
Dev played 58 games for Wests between 1950 & 1957 and was a try scorer in Wests win over Souths in the 1954 Grand Final, Dev passed away in Tamworth ast Friday aged 87 and his funeral was today.

Well before my time, but an old mate used to speak fondly of Dines & Leo Trevena. RIP.
