Development of spine

The one thing the club has done right.

Hiring Api, which leaves Farah and Api to mentor TDS.

At least the future looks bright at Nr9
So the same goes with fainu , get him into the team while we have a half decent forward pack to look after him , there has been heaps of kids play at 19 , if he needs a break give him a week or two off

Ok, accept my comment may have been a little too simplistic but still don’t think 9 requires a brain surgeon. Selective passing, speed off the mark and tackling all necessary so my comment was aimed at whether you needed TDS on the bench to cover a 10 -15 min API rest, or leave him to develop over 80min in KoE while utilising a suitable bench forward in first grade to cover.
That is what you can get away with if you have to..However, where Api and other quality hookers make it is by engaging the A and B defender, and making room for plays to unfold. The reason teams play two hookers is because of how critical this aspect is to their attack. If we are prepared to accept that we retard our attack by not having someone to set the platform correctly then we can use anyone, but to develop TDS properly I think Api should be playing 80 and him in ressies until he is ready.

Have you notice how stunted our attack becomes when Api is not on the paddock?

Totally get you but are they resting API coz he needs that rest, or to give TDS minutes ?
Seems like a lose/ lose scenario and I would love to see API go for 80.
This comes back to what I’m saying about
a short stint not giving TDS a chance to get into the game.
But that has to be a tactical decision made by the coaches. But they do have to decide, one way or another !

Need to watch the lower grades as well as this happens to often. not for the football manager to makes changes in the coaching structure and skills coach position.

And our ruthless wo/men's team. Our core. Our centre. Our heartbeat.

This is Nuts.

Ok TDS seems to be having strong potential. Fainu likewise strong potential.

I believe our halfback is Sezer, who would be at best the 16th best halfback in the comp. Probably 17th.

Even then, our back line is still stuffed. We can't win games if we can't defend our flanks. Every team knows now "pass to the wing" and score against the tigers.

Seriously we lost to St George when we could have put them to the bottom of the ladder.

Sure Api is probably a top 3 hooker, TDS may reach Api's potential but lets see.
Fainu and Bula are kind of guns.
It's going to take 2 years for a spine to properly "gel".
Other clubs have 2-3 better halfbacks than Sezer. He wouldn’t be top 25
