Did farah have permission....

You would have to think he did. Surely no one player can have such an influence where he can do what he wants with no consequence. If he did do the interview without the club's consent and there were no ramifications, then as far as im concerend there lies the problem with our club.

Wasn't it part of the condition that 20K was donated to Simon Dwyer Appeal that he did the interview as such I would assume he had the Clubs permission

Is there any rule that prior to doing anything in the media they have to consult with the club first ? If not its a moot point.

If there's not then there should be. It's just symptomatic of how this club is managed (or not managed)! To think a player - any player, but particularly the team captain - can go on national TV without permission and bag out his boss, is unbelievable. If we had a CEO who was not totally out of his depth, all of this crap we've been subjected to over the past couple of weeks, would have been handled in-house - not in the media.

There seems a very clear agenda from certain people on here AGAINST our captain. Seriously you are too transparent Get a life

Simple question crusader.

Its been reported several times, even by an employee of the club, that no permission was given.

**Whats the answer to the question crusader?**

You'd think it would go thru the media manager.
Given a club employee in Roach has said that there was no permission, the fact he made a point of that would suggest permission does need to be sought and approved.
Nothing from the club in the three days since either way leaves us all in the dark.

Yes … Sounds similar to the get rid of Sheens and get rid of Marshall agenda. As I pointed out in a previous post, two years on our cause has not been enhanced.

The tin foil hat brigade are gathering

No one can answer the question….and people here talk about accepting mediocrity. Same people dont even realise they support it.

Blocker's comments were more harmful to the wests tigers brand than Farah's interview.

Ink, I don't understand your position against farah in all this. Because he didn't nip this in the butt by clearing things up as soon as Tallis made his comments? Maybe he was in shock that Tallis accused him of being the chief architect in disposing potter, even though it's pretty clear that he had nothing to do with it. Whatever the reason, Farah is not the one to blame for all this rubbish! We should be supportive of him

Farah was representing his employer when he did the interview, as such he must seek their permission before doing such interviews….

Seems to be a very high percentage of our supporter base would prefer when things begin to get not to their liking, its easier to pretend its not happening, pointing fingers at others calling out so called agendas to cover their fears.
Theyre the so called true supporters….40//50+ point floggings generally see them come to the fore

He's not solely to blame.
But he's also not blameless.
His leadership is nowhere to be seen currently…Im starting to think hes not the (C) I thought he was.
I await someone to bring up 50 odd tackles....meh happens most games

Who does he need permission off?

The fearless leader Grant Mayer (a man currently in hiding it would seem)

Personally I think its disgracefult the amount of flak Farah has been given. He could have handled it a lot better however there are people at our club probably sitting back looking at our captain getting all this stick and probably smiling.

Bloke has spit blood for a decade plus and been a CONSISTENT high performer. He is not perfect however the place is a circus and i just think he gets really frustrated.

Yeah well Blocker bled for the club aswell but he's not immmune to critisn. As a tradie I've bled while working too, doesnt mean I can run the place.

And I read that mayer has had a death in the family so that may explain his silence.
