Did I hear right..Ellis is in doubt?

As some of you may know, Coach Sheens was on The Game Plan tonight.
Now I hope I didn't hear right, but I am sure Coach Sheens said Gareth was in some doubt this weekend.
Huge loss if true, and seems like he can't take a trick either this season

Yes that was what he said I reckon he will be right Someone said before if it was a Friday game he definitely would be out Wait and see I guess
 
If Ellis is out would that make Parra favorites? If Wests are the side we think we are, then 1 forward missing shouldnt be the be all and end all of the team .Timmy probably wants to rest his groin injury for a week .

He has been carrying a chronic groin injury all year and requires surgery at season's end. He needs to be managed carefully to get through the season.
 
Sounds like it's tentative at this stage. Hopefully if it is serious enough Sheens has the foresight to leave him out so as to not exaggerate the injury. We really need Ellis for the finals, it would be folly to risk him in a game which in real terms has little benefit for us since we've almost certainly secured a finals berth with two games remaining.

Yeah but what to do CB Without Rowdy ,Lote and Ellis I think we might lost this one
 
Happy, would you risk Lote & Ellis for one game and risk exaggerating their injuries and possibly losing them for the finals campaign?

If Galloway, Gibbo, Rhino, Fults and Woods all get stuck in like they have been, the backs will do their job, no matter who is there.

Maybe CB not Lote Ellis probably
But if we lose this weekend and finish 8th We are probably buggered anyway .
Its a hard call either way
Suppose the good thing with it is we can make a decision after we see all the results from other games
 
Dont forget that as we approach the Semis and play teams that arent doing to well the coach has the luxury of resting players such as Ellis and Lote to make sure thy are as close to 100% as possible.

Yeah I all for resting Ellis for GC game ,but the Parra game worries me a touch
If he can get through the Parra game would rest him for Titans game imo
 
I agree with above that the parra game worries me a bit and am hoping ellis will play and then rest him next week against the Titans who i think we will beat easily. It is a hard decision with Ellis as we dont want to lose him for the semis. but i would play him this week for sure unless the injury is that bad it would hamper his running.
