If he would be ruled out if it was a friday game, then i say its too risky to play him on Sunday. Give him a rest

Difficult to specualte without knowing the details of the injury, the slight doubt might be being highly precautionary and by Sunday there be no doubt,
I like everyone else would not want to risk him if there is a chance of him being further injured, nor will the Tigers staff tho….

In reality everytime you send a player out there is a chance of injury, so if there is no or minimal risk of further injury send him out and keep the momentum to the finals going!

Why doesn't Sheen's leave Ellis on the bench and use if needed. Give Payten a starting spot for some macth fitness and drop McKinnon off the bench and replace with another forward.

If Ellis is not required as we are winning well then let him stay on the bench the whole 80 minutes.

Al Schirnack is currently injured. Of the remaining backrowers who have FG experience, there is Junior Moors, Mark Flanagan and a rather unfit Ben Murdoch-Masila.

Dont forget that as we approach the Semis and play teams that arent doing to well the coach has the luxury of resting players such as Ellis and Lote to make sure thy are as close to 100% as possible.

Just heard on 2GB that Ellis is in doubt for tomorrow's game. He has only trained lightly this week. They will make a decision on him tomorrow morning.

Wests Tigers were supposed to train at Leichhardt this morning (Saturday) but the whole thing was cancelled. Ellis is a week to week proposition. To be totally honest I dont think he has more than a month left in him.

If I were Fonz I'd bench him for the next 3 games. I'd run Payten for 50 mins and bring David Fifita in for 2 15 minute spells.

Lote hasn't been there all yr, and after today they could be sitting in 5th, without Lote's help. No disrespect to Lote but he's only a winger, and premierships aren't won and lost on the fitness of your wingers

Flanagan AND Fulton in the same side = potential for disaster.
