Yeah I agree some what, I think the whole other side to his career has taken some of his attention away from the game, but IMO he drops the ball and fumbles more than he used to and usually at crucial times of the game.
I think we all watched how effective our defence is with Gibbs, Payten and Ellis missing.
Unfortunately Payten's body is not holding up and will look at retirement. Great player.
I agree with Balmain Bug - Gibbs must be kepted for his defence. Play him at second row now we have so many big boppers coming through (Galloway, Fifita, Woods, Begowich, Groat) who can play prop.
Sheens not using the bench correctly is one problem.
Attitude has to change. We have the talent now we need to be switched on from the whistle.
I think Woods would be a better starting prop and allow Fifita to be an impact player from the bench.
Fulton is too small.

I wonder if the Beau Ryan/Robbie Farah Footy Show skit (yes, that is a K but an H would have been appropriate) had any effect on team morale??? Could there have been some tension in the team which spilled over into Saturday night's performance? Maybe someone closer to the team can provide an insight into this…

Unlike many other posters here who think Payten's body is not holding up, IDK if a fully fit Payten can crack the side IMO.
Payten's not a standard metre gaining prop that the Tigers need atm and we already have the world's best defensive prop in Gibbs.
As for 2ndrow, he doesn't run lines like Dwyer, Ellis etc.
People say he is a good defender, but he can't play long minutes so I dont think he can be a lock either.
As for the bench, we need two props and an impact 2nd rower.
His experience is invaluable, but we have a strong playing group atm.

Even Lote agreed on foxtel last night, and he would be back for next weeks game and you cant afford to give sides the nrl a big start expect to run them down, he referred to the broncos and souffs game in particular and you cant afford to surrender big leads like we did against the titans
