@larrycorowa said:Too old, not sure he will be around in our premiership window. I would rather develop our own backrow. Chris Lawrence is going ok.

There's no comparison between Scott and Ballin.
Apart from the fact that Ballin has never been as good as Scott, we don't even know
A . he will play at all this year, and
B . If he will be any good when he finally gets back on the field.
Remember Manly didn't spill any tears when they moved him out .
So far it looks like they knew what they were doing.
Could prove to be another JT inspirational decision,
That's right it already has, 5 ( if you count Liddle) hookers

Liddle, Cherrington, Farah , Ballin, Halateau,
I may be wrong , but the last time I looked , that was 5, I think it still is.
Liddell and Cherrington aren't up to first grade at the moment, but Cherrington has been used there.
we still have 3 more hookers even if only one of them is genuinely a first grade hooker at this moment.
Ballin may or may not be anywhere near his best when and if he's ready to play
He was originally a tool to get Robbie to go.
Now we're stuck with paying him for a full season because JT wanted to play silly Buggers( which blew up in his face)
(I did say in my post" if you include Liddle".

Umm Halatau is not a hooker, he is a second rower who can do a job at hooker. Liddle is an U20's player caught by the U20's cap and I don't think realistically that he was in anyone's plans for first grade this year.
We have Farah, Cherrington and Ballin. Arguably one more than we need but if Farah had left and we had not signed Ballin then we would have found ourselves one short of what we needed.
Just let the bloke have a run before hailing his signing as the worst in the club's history.

Halateau often been used as a hooker and when Cherrington didn't work out was hooker with Farah.
And liddle has been talked up here as well.
Glad you read my whole post, pity you saw a statement that wasn't there, but don't let that bother you.

Ok I won't let it bother me because you're just generally talking crap and aren't worth my time.

No problem with you criticising any of my posts, but next time at least be honest about what I'm supposed to have said , and don't just write drivel and attribute it to me.
Your opinion will have more credibility if it's even close to the truth,
Maybe you should use a bit more of your precious time to actually read what you critise.
If you have trouble reading, I'll use smaller words next time. LOL

You clearly do have a problem with criticism. You are also quick to resort to pedantic crap when you are losing the substance of an argument, which is often. Have your heroic little comeback and then hopefully someone will be along to lock the thread.
