Do we admit defeat for 2012

Do we admit defeat for 2012 and say a tilt for the premiership is gone now, and blood some 20's in readiness for 2013 ? i say yes .
In the next couple of weeks we are gonna have a very unsettled team due to the injuries , so i say start building for next year so we are one step ahead .
my heart is telling me don't give up yet , but my brain is telling me your gone . Just being realistic . Thoughts?

I'm sorry I didn't hear you correctly - did you just say "Do I support Parramatta or the Sharks?"

Seriously though, I don't ever give up - Mathematical chances I go with as well because the thing with our mob you can't say about most teams is that we can legitimately beat ANY team on our day.

One day, some time down the track there will be a conversation on the Sunday footy show, and in passing someone will utter these words - "Top 4 is so crucial guys. Remember, No-one has ever won a Grand Final from lower than 4th spot on the ladder… well, with the exception of the Tigers in 2012..."

That edginess that follows me throughout winter the buzz for the naming of the team and the anticipation for the weekend to watch the mighty tigers has been extinguished in my eyes.
Through no lack of trying but a lack of direction has cost us RIP 2012 premiership hopes

That's the way i'm feeling as well , for the squad we have ? we have under achieved big time . There is only one game this year that i recall that we dominated from the start vs Canberra 40-0 and against Cowboys at Campbelltown only in patches . So there is nothing there to suggest that we are gonna dramatically turn this around .
Blood in those fantastic wingers we have in the 20's and the fullback, and for what its worth leave Jacob Miller at halfback for the rest of the year.

It is still our 8th place to lose.

The road is tougher but it is in the teams hands

One of Wayne Bennetts favourite sayings is "go to the line"… With 6 Rounds remaining, we gota hang in there and see what happens Sunday evening on the 2nd of September.

Fire Up Tiger Fans!!!

I agree never give up and we are number 8.

Are we playing well enough to trouble the top sides come semi final time. Well on current form the answer is no but if we can get players back and Marshall can move back to 5/8 and find some form anything is possible.

I think we need some pace in our backline and encourage Sheens to pick some of the stars from under 20's.

My heart always says Wests Tigers but my brain says Canterbury verses Souths Grand Final which will be great for the game.

"They overcame the impossible by doing the unthininkable".

Only one team can win. One lucky team might I add. At the moment we are unlucky & I have learnt from past mistakes what I think will happen & what does happen in this life are worlds apart. & no I'm not on medication.

I like the way you think, UD! Never say die! GO THE TIGERS!!!!!! :sign:

No issac luke and no inglis this weekend takes alot out of their spine, our forward pack is still relatively strong, if we can muscle up this sunday (long shot after the pace of monday night) there will be a massive buzz around the club, you will get keith back and moltzen back next week so anything is possible. stuff the top 8 worry about this week and then see what happens!!!

Most or our injured players will be back in 1-2 weeks. Our forwards are still strong. Bring on September!

Never give up , Never surrender , just one more round

After all is said and done at about 4.40 after the Storm match we will know where we stand

Preparing for Semis or preparing for Mad Monday

Anything can happen the team we select this week may click or they may not

Serious? We are far from out of it. Have a bit of faith buddy.

What if the Saints, Necastle and Canberra all admitted defeat a couple of weeks back when they looked long shots. A week is a long time in footy, in 5 weeks just about anything could happen.

After a pretty abysmal season so far where we saw our team, the premiership favourites, ravaged by injury and dire form, the head says we are done. That is my realistic thoughts.

That being said, we are still in with a show and that fat chick hasnt sung yet. I will still make it to 3 more games this regular season and will be screaming my backside off to get us home. I would like to see a couple of young fellas given a go, but promoting 4 or 5 is throwing in the towel. That is not who we are.

For mine it depends how we play Sunday. It will be an upset if we win however…these are the games we like. If we try hard and go down swinging like we did against Brisbane and Cowboys then I say with our returning boys we should make it. If we capitulate and cop an embarrassing flogging then I think the road ahead may be too steep - even to make the 8.
