Do we agree?

It's been said by many that Potter has 10 rounds to get his house in order or he's gone. First I must say I'm in the Potter corner, and believe that if he's given a proper go and injuries are at a minimum, he is the man to take us forward.
But if Potter was to be shown the door, so should others.

I think it's time to stand up for Lawrence, Blair, Koro, Thompson, Austin & BMM or release them as nothing will change their playing styles

Ava & Sue have gone well, but now is the time we need more. Sorry guys but that's reality.

Anasta & Moltz know that 2014 is the end of the road.

And finally, if Potter gets the punt, Payten is not the person we should be looking at as our coach. In saying that, I have the biggest respect for Todd, but he's to green and to connected to be given the coaching role.

I disagree. I am expecting improvement this year and hopefully giving the right players a chance. If it goes horribly wrong then and only then punt him this year. The better alternative though for me is that he gets another year and then a decision is made.

Completely disagree. We have a young squad still developing and learning how to play the game. If we sack Potter we run the risk of landing ourselves in a similar tailspin to Parramatta.
If Potter is to be moved on it has to be a planned move, with a well thought out replacement selected. IMO it'd be ridiculous to sack Potter and replace him with Payten.

Yeah well if he is sacked before the season is out Payten will just go into the head coaching role till they go through the application thing , besides who are we to judge that Payten hasn't got the capabilities to be a Head coach

Payten would be a Wests Tigers move… the dumb move.

For starters we have Kidwell who has done his apprenticeship under Bellamy also on staff...

I believe any success we have will depend on our front rowers .
Galloway owes our club heaps and if he and woodsia can stay on the field and dominate we will have a good year .Potter will be punted if we fail again .

it will be interesting considering any decision to punt Potter will be made in the boardroom… Prior to structural changes, I figured he was a sitting duck if we weren't traveling well, but that may change now the NRL Directors won't have a focus of controlling the football operations.

On the other hand, maybe our new direction might open the door to attract a big-name coach like Uncle Wayne?

If we are going that bad that we need to sack a rookie coach working virtually for nothing…and with little resources....what will throwing another rookie in that is mates with and played with several of the curremt team achieve???

Koro only debuted late last year...Austin hasnt played a comp game yet

Seems like impatience overload here

No more sacking coaches before the end of their term!

If the team isn't performing under the coach, then don't renew his contract.

How do you attract a top coach or player if you keep sacking them mid term?

I think Potter will show the doubters wrong…providing the expectations are reasonable.

I do believe Potter the very least deserves to see out his last year of his contract at worst.
He went into it last year with players that were not his choice , so let him have the full year .
There should be realistic goals for him to achieve and judge him purely on his coaching skills.
The players will have a fair bit to say , more the senior ones .

I also believe this sacking coaches mid year is just crazy. Just don't renew the contract!!

Appoint the new coach for the following year so he can get his stuff sorted, and if the current coach doesn't like it, he can leave of his own accord and not get paid.

Potters future will be short if the team finishes near the bottom again .and that's just a fact in Nrl . So who says another rookie would be appointed ? Like myself and braithe have said ,,,Galloway and woods staying fit and having plenty of go forward will be the key

That's where it starts and finishes 1/4\. The Pigs.

I would like him to get the full season and see how it plays out. This is more his playing roster and coaching staff so it is a fairer test of his abilities. Depending on the amount of progress shown, we could offer him 1 or 2 more years if we can achieve more wins and be more competitive against the heavyweights. A similar year to last and we is a dead man walking.

He did some things I really liked last year and a few things that baffled. What can't be doubted is he was thrown into the fire and will be better for the expereince. He doesn't really fill me with confidence listening to the him in the media. However i'm more concerned with what he is doing on the training pitch and how he is at putting in place game plans and standards at the club. The jury is still out and I honestly have no idea how it will go for him, but i wish him well.

I was an early critic of Potter and remain so. We really need to be competitive in the first 10 rounds. If not, I will be baying for his blood.

His strength his he is not afraid to use young players. His weakness is that under his charge we have looked completely devoid of any tactics. Like Eddie I am very concerned about his media work. I am hoping that he just likes to keep his cards close to his chest.

Uncle Wayne is a smart man …my mail is he will finish his career at the cowboys

Who knows but the Bronco's want him back and are prepared to wait, lots of pressure on Potter,i hope he can insulate the players from it.

Jack Gibson couldn't have got us into the 8 last year.
Sacking a coach mid season creates more problems than it solves

Just like Benji, Farah needs a halfback! In that nines game he had no one. Austin played some minutes and he's not a great organiser/kicker leaving Farah as the last option!

Same thing last year. And same thing in soo iii where Pierce and Maloney weren't doing a thing with 5min on the clock.

He will become better if you give him some halves, they are the most important players on the field
