Wookie, people I've met in the past say, 'I'm going to support the Roosters or tge Storm because they know how to play etc etc.
Once a particular team

👍 Disappointed mate, don't blame U.
I bet you you will be here next week old timer.
“And meanwhile at the station
There's a couple of likeky lads
Who swear like how's your father
And they're very cool for cats
They're cool for cats....

I'll support this club till they are the death of me haha. My pop forced dad to support Wests. 25 years ago dad forced me to support Wests and you can bet for hell that I'll be forcing my ones to support Wests.

Brooks would be right up their for the dumbest player on our team. It's inexcusable to find the opposition a broken defensive line to run at in the final 2 mins. You run the ball and and get tackled and make them go 90m+. No other half back in the league would make such a basic error at such a crucial time.

Peachey am honourable mention

But it came from the coaching staff ? 😂

All as bad as each other.
Brooks is so bad, it's actually hilarious.
As is the support he receives from some.

Agreed. If McGuire made the call to take the 2 at that crucial time & position, he deserves to go. I doubt that any other professional coach would have made that decision - even Fatty Vautin questioned it....

I'm not talking about taking the two, i'm talking about the ridiculous decision to bomb to the wing with 2 mins on the clock. You run the ball and set your defensive line.

At the start of the year my expectations were somewhere around the spoon, but I wanted to see a side that had a crack defensively. After four rounds we have had a crack three times, so Iam not to unhappy.

on the other hand our whole attacking structure is absolutely woeful. We can’t even execute five one out hit ups and a good kick. I think it all comes down to the spine, they just don’t seem to have a plan or know what plays to play.

Next few weeks is going to be the real test because the enthusiasm in defence will not last for ever

What gets me is when players front the media during the week and they each discuss how confident they are bouncing back in the next week by saying "we're beating ourselves", "we need to be better", "no one else but us to blame, "there's no room for complacency", "hungry for success", "looking to bounce back next week" ... and all that blah blah it's all verbal diarrhoea.

The set after we took the lead was so uninspiring. They forget how to win.

To answer the question posed by this topic. Yes- we probably do. It’s a very valid point that our team is full of players with very little footy IQ or sense of urgency or vision to see things in the game.
However i am sure the decision to kick for goal with a few minutes left was not made by Brooks for those who are blaming him.

We were so good in D against a very good pack. In the first half we made more tackles with less missed tackles even with a player in the bin.
If AD and JH and Stef were playing we would have smashed them because we lacked the quality players to stick the knife in.
Next week Peachey out, To'a in.
Jacob Liddle all heart for soldiering on after he got smashed.
Once again controversial decisions go against us.
Lets do what a team did last year and after losing their early games to come home to make the playoffs.
Spot on, we lose the first 4 and then Turbo comes in to play full back for us.

Problem solved.
