Do we really have a top 8 squad next year?

On paper I would say no, but anything is possible I guess. If we could just have one season without a lot of long term injuries it would help our cause immensely, but I won't be holding my breath waiting for that to happen.

If nothing changes, in 2014 we will be just short of one high profile player, forward or back. Why can't we buy that player? It would certainly give our players a lot more confidence in 2014 and into 2015.

We will be widely tipped for the spoon I think. Parramatta will have a few key signings that will make people think they'll improve, namely Hopoate.

IMO we still need 1 hard nut in the forwards like a Hargreaves type who just charges, so we can play offthe back of those charges. But the one thing that will decide if were a top 8 team is our halves! They really need to first and foremost have a top notch kicking game, really take control but I can't see it happening in their first year. Teddy a big ? Is he the one i can't see it at the moment. 10th to spoon. Realistically

Agree, 10th is a likely outcome but I still think we can contend for the finals berth. Very dependent on our halves, I think Teddy will come through. Maybe not an origin player but something like M. Gordon at the sharks someday, a decent fullback. Forwards should do okay if they can stay reasonably healthy.

And who is that high profile player that by some miracle has not been picked up by another NRL club that is just waiting for the Wests Tigers to call ?

The only player I can think of is Israel Folau and his only interest in coming here would be lots of money.

we just need to play as a team ,cut the stupid mistakes and strengthen the defence......easier said than done, sure.

We don't need no superstars, the players we have are more than good enough

The young talent we have is at least on par with 2005\. It may click like it did that season or it may take longer. The biggest problem I see next year is the #6 and the forwards providing a good enough platform.

Brooks is very talented put probably needs an experienced 6 next to him and Anasta is years past his best. Wallace might be worth a go if the Broncos are paying a lot of his wage.

Outside backs will be fine and have a lot of pace. Still hope Tedesco develops.

I think the back row lacks size especially if Fulton and Halatua both start there.

I really think we will be around 10-13 next year and be a lot better in 2015-2016.

We might need 1 more year then our charge in the 8 will happen in 2015 but next year we will improve its going to look weird to how we play next year without Benji Marshall lol.
