Do we want a win on sunday? Dont boo LG

I’d respecter him if he’d come out and said I’m a parra supporter all my life I want to play for them - even if they told me I wasn’t good enough and Benji gave me a chance and played me first grade as an 18 yr old-and would have won rookie of the year award and played prme ministers eleven
I agree, still think he was a complete dick, but would respect him more if he was honest. And not that slime u find in the back of a pond that has stagnated for quite some time!!

How much more development did he want? First grader as an 18 yr old would have won rookie of of the year award played, prime ministers 11 , the team built around him all bushit he just wants to play for parra

As if Ryles who only knows how to run into a wall as a player will develop Galvin better than Benji who won golden boot, played international football as a #6…??.?

Maybe just maybe this kid has very limited life skills outside of football training and home life where evrrything is done for him & ego stroked. Just does what he is told by those in seniority. And if there is enough of his seniors (ie Dad, manager, former high school coach) pushing a certain message, of course he is going to follow suit. Sad but most likely true.

Really with the world of social media equals more awareness than ever. I think it’s a massive cop out to think a 19 year old doesn’t have any idea what’s going on around him throughout all of this. Bullshite, he’s all in, yes his manager is pond scum and his dad seems a very small person. But it’s up to u know right from wrong, that’s at your core by now, no excuses!
He has effectively backstabbed the guy who believed in him the most apart from his family, no loyalty just a thousand knives t in the back. Low brow shite there. Can’t believe he’s done it, after all that bunji did for him. He wrote a dossier ffs!
Pathetic really.
Sick of hearing he’s just a kid, it’s a cop out.

. . . . . . . and had an absolute shocker.

If Richo wants me to stay for another 18 months I'll have a shocker every week until I get a release, I've shown the world that I can do it. 🤣

I’m not saying he is not responsible, he should be accountable for his decisions & treated like an adult.

What I have seen of him in media interviews & reading about his life, he presents as young and naive. Even today’s story in the DT said he rarely uses social media, doesn’t go out much or have a drink. Quite an insular lifestyle & even at 19/20 probably relies on his parents more than most.

Danny Weidler and Peter Fitzsimmons will have a field day with us if we boo. Nine media are big into the Moses camp (or just a mouthpiece for whatever Gould wants) and they want a big scandal to talk 'crisis' and 'bullying' at our club.

Don't boo.

Agree , cheer our players on lif he is selected by the coach he is part of the team , 1 in all in
Don’t give the cretins more ammo for more shat stories and headlines
Instead
Galvin Returns to the cheer of the Leichhardt crowd and plays a pivotal roll in the tigers win today , now that’s what we need to read

I’ve seen this before and when he gets a Mrs that doesn’t toe the line they will hate it.

I cannot believe that the DT, being the honest & reliable news source that they are, neglected to mention that he helps old ladies across the road and saves injured puppies. …..

So we've reached game day and I find myself feeling more strongly about whether or not the Leichhardt crowd will boo Galvin.

Many people don't want him in the side (I don't). But everyone wants the team to win....

@innsaneink is exactly right: (prolonged) booing of Galvin is only going to adversely affect his performance.

Like it or not, for 80 minutes he is on the field and they can't afford to carry a rattled kid at 6 for many - if any - of them.

That's not even considering the effect on Galvin; It's not worth it either way you look at it.

A try assist will stop the booing

Booing! haha seriously boo Benji if you must he selected the team ..while Galvin has got the tigers colours on just back him , what's booing Gunna do? sweet fu.ck all but turn our home game advantage into a disadvantage . We aren't sitting top of the ladder if the coach Pick's a player we back the coach. Tigers sneak home by 2.
