I think the players will come back very focused and with Campese's season ending injury, I think we could be on 12 points before we know it if we dont take the Eels, Titans and Raiders games for granted. Out of the next 4 weeks, the Tigers should have most trouble with the bye….

Originally I would've said yes, but after looking at the boys at the end of the game against Penrith, I think some of them could do with a break. They looked like they'd just finished playing a tight game in golden point, not just smashed a team 30-0! Maybe it was just the mental relief after jagging a much needed win, I don't know, but I'm a bit concerned about their fitness levels, tbh. Did anyone else notice the bodies flaked out all over the ground at the end of the game?

I think the break is great for me :slight_smile: it has been a poor start to the season, last week was a bump up and now I can just focus on the footy this week with less fanatacism. More importantly, for the Wests Tigers players, the break gives them a rest and if they have been selected to play in rep footy then, a change is as good as a holiday….

Who knows I can't get any guide to what this current side is all about! Fitness/attitude /in fighting i don't know… but looking at them on the field this certainly isn't what I was expecting especially after the last couple of seasons.This for me is a turning point of our season if we come out and win at least 2 of the next 3 I say the remander of the season might be ok!

i think it is perfect timing. i said in another post i didnt think they were that great against the panthers, and hope a week off will see them only remembering a 30-0 scoreline!
also, it looks to me like a few of the guys are carrying and a bit of ice will do a lot of good….
