Ok yes everyone is saying it COULD happen, so I'll re word my question and ask:
Does anybody on here believe Cronulla will beat us this Saturday night?

The Sharks have actually looked okay over the past 2 years, without winning many games. They played pretty solid against the Dragons in round 15 and were in the contest for most of the game against the Raiders on the weekend. However, their inability to score points will cost them. The Tigers also have a great record against them and will not disappoint at Leichhardt.
 
Barrett will be giving it everything, his last 6 games in a long career….if he fires he could be inspiring to his team mates, this will be difficult
 
both teams have alot to play for.
wests-tigers to secure a finals berth.
sharks to finish above cowboys.
would be nice to see wests-tigers, score a decent amount of points.
we have no control over that.
as long as they win, I will be pleased.
 
They key will be the Tigers starting well. If you get a start on the Sharks they'll think, here we go again, and we should press on.
If the Sharks get the jump on us, they will fight tenaciously to hang on, and we may panic and start to think, here we go again.
Crucial game. I hope we can put 30 on them
 
I don't believe the sharks will win. We'll have to be well off our game for that to happen and coming off a dissapointing loss i can see us starting well. Most teams only need to put around 16 points on the sharks to win. I do however think they can give us a good run though and scare us.
 
Physically they are a big side and while they may be outclassed in several areas they won't roll over without a fight. Tigers will need to pick the intensity up from the Manly game because the Sharks will play them up the middle as well IMO. This is a game where the Tigers must control the ruck if they want to win.
 
We'll beat this mob, we are awesome at beating up on crap sides. It;s the more competitive sides that have most of us concerned.
 
After what has happened during the last three years why should anyone think we are certainties to win any game? There has not been a single game this season where I've been 100% certain that we would win. So yes, I believe that the Sharks could beat us. And if they do it will be a disgrace.
 
This is a perfect game for us to get our attack going again and confidence back, Tigers by 20!
 
Massive danger game.
I remember a stat from david middleton last week referring to teams with new coaches mid season.
They usually go gang busters but not until the second week of the new coach.
So watch out!

Very true Willow. I know theres still a few injury clouds hanging over some of the boys and it probably won't eventuate, but I think the side named today is easily the best selected all season and we have the firepower (would prefer a fourth forward on the bench, but won't argue with Daniela's selection as he could prove to be a devastating impact player,) to easily account for the Sharks.

That said, how many games have we thought our boys were going to be easily accounted for this year and they came away with a win? The Sharks I believe are underperformers. They have some great names on paper they just fail to conjure it all together at once. The Cowgirls are coming equal last and had us on the ropes at half time so there's no telling what Cronulla could do to us. Depends whether Barrett and Porter show up on the night.
 
ive actually been enjoying watching what the sharks are going to produce each week with barrett and morris, but im pretty confident we will put them to the sword!
