Does anybody on here think..

That Cronulla actually have a chance of beating us next week??

We will have players coming back from injury and the fact that were verseing arugably the worst team in the comp at Leichardt oval after a slightly embarrasing performance against Manly. We have everything to play for in this match and Cronulla have nothing to play for besides respect. They gave it there all on the weekend against a sluggish Canberra side who gave an extremely poor peformance and we beaten comfortably in the end.

Im just wondering if anyone on here thinks that they will be able to end our premiership dreams for 2010 this Saturday night?

When you have a coach that selects Fitzhenry as starting FB anything is possible and I have seen the last 4yrs when the pressures on the Tigers fold and go out the back door .. the last 4 yrs are more than proof of that.

Of course. Any team on any day, on any ground, can beat anyone. If we turn up with a bad attitide we will get beat for sure.

We will give it to them. Today was the loss we had to have and now we start from scratch for the run to the finals.

We have 0 +/- differential and are sitting in 3rd or potentially 4th after tomorrow. The destiny is in our own hands based on that and i am very confident the boys will get the job done.

That is the problem, but super coach won't admit or address it.

This is exactly what I'm hoping. After all these close wins I think we needed a loss to wake up and start working towards our best footy.

i suppose it will depend on who wants to win more …...

Every game is important but this is the game to get us to 28 points, the number most think puts a team in the finals. It could have been today, but that happens. The danger signs will be there. We will be short priced favourite, it is at LO and we will be expected to win easily. This game is a concern. Playing a team with nothing to lose is always a risk. We need big crowd number there and a team with each position filled, where possible by the best player in the club to play the position and a decent, well used bench. It is a home game, we must get the points here or like the Panthers we could really hit the wall on 26 points.

You reckon theyve nothing to play for?
This week will be their first full week with their new coach.
Their season 2011 starts with us.
If they beat us it wont end our season….will make it a bit more desperate though

Of course, no easy games. Also whilst the Storm have the spoon, they still have won 10 games compared to Cronulla and North Queenslands 5, so I am sure either Cronulla nor NQ would like to have the least amount of wins in the comp even though they won't get the spoon. So they have a heap to play for.

We always struggle against good packs and the Sharks have a fair pack, but really we should win and win well but the seeds of doubt have now be thrown

NO NO NO NO NO….....but I hope I won't be saying that at fulltime. If we don't win on Saturday night, we don't deserve to be in the 8....I didn't like what I saw during the fist half of that Sharks & Canberra Game, they looked keen as

We should win with ease but this game worries me big time
On one hand we have an impressive record against the sharks & we have beaten all the teams that are not traveling well
But on the flip side the last time the sharks beat tigers was a LO night game & another stat that worries me is out of the last 14 games that a new coach has been appointed mid season on 12 of them the new coach has come up with the points on there 2nd game as head coach.

I agree that it is possible for any team to beat anybody on the day so a loss won't surprise me. However what I find hard to swallow is when we lose those games that Tim and or Robbie say "they ambushed us" or "we weren't expecting them to come out that hard". If we take them easy we are in trouble…...
