Does Junior Moors fit into the 2012 plans?

If Sheens is going for a bigger pack of forwards in 2012 Junior Moors appears to fit the criteria.

25 years old and 109 kilograms.

When given a go in NRL in 2010 he appearred to do a good job but should be mainly used as a wide running second rower and not as a Prop.

I read other forum members comments that he appears a class above in BRET.

I would like to see him be given a chance to play second row in NRL in Simon Dwyer absence.

Simon Dwyer might not even make it back on the paddock (I hope he comes back).

Does anyone know why Junior Moors is not being used on NRL and players like BMM and Groat are being picked ahead of him.

Also Forum members thoughts of signing him for 2012 and using him as a second rower or off the bench?

He doesn't even fit in Sheens' 2011 plans.. and was barely sighted in his 2010 plans. Sorry everett, in all likelihood he wont be hear next year.

He got a few runs in the trials and he was one of the worst players on the field. I haven't seen him late, but if he has improved, it's surprising Sheensy hasn't picked him given our injuries.

He hasnt been used the way he should. Whenever he's had a chance in NRL he has been used as a front rower, but its clear he's a wide running ball playing backrower. However, even though he's not a front rower, he probably should have done more when he has had his chamces.

Id be tempted to start him this week in the backrow but it wont happen

I seem to remember a guy by the name of Bronson Harrison who was used by the Tigers primarily in the middle of the ruck - maybe Moors needs to go to Canberra - they seem to see the value of wide running second rowers.

Like many have said he's been used as a bash n barge prop, whereas running wide suits him better. Couple this with the fact that he is nearly as injury prone as Galloway and he's not been able to secure a first grade spot on this basis.

The guy was on track for great things before he snapped his ankle in his time at Penriff.

I would still like to see something in first grade from him this season. If he looks a grade above in reserve grade he should be given an opportunity at some point. Moving on Gibbs, Payten & Fifita for Blair and Bell. Why not give Moors a chance to play for another contract. Going in with some young props next year, I think a player like Moors could be valuable.

Lets just say Moors didn't hide how disappointed he was at training when he heard Groat would be taking Payten's spot on the weekend.

2012..Nope don't think so.
