No matter what the most vocal here are saying you only need to look around the NRL community to see what this decision has done for Jason Taylor's reputation. No decent player with good management will go anywhere near this club. The only ones he will be able to win over are the desperate and those unwanted by their own clubs.
Exactly. The word will be out, don't come to WTs while Taylor is coach.
mate, the word has been out for a very very long time in league circles.
DONT go anywhere near Jason Taylor.
hes the mini me of Ricky stuart without 1% of the credentials.
bobo, you seem to have a deadset grudge against Taylor for whatever reason, you are either a coach who has had his toes trodden on by Taylor or you are a player that he rejected,or you could be someone who just gets on the forum as of yesterday, after the Farah saga and want to throw your 20 cents worth of dribble in just to cause more grief than what should be…you seem to know a lot more than the other forum members regarding Taylor, and as far as league circles, which circles are they..WTs,Sharkies or my guess is probably Roosters....
mate, as ive said before - im not a player or a coach or anyone who has had their toes stepped on by Taylor…
I am a fan of the game. have been for over 30 years and i call a spade a spade.
League / being a fan is pretty emotional at the best of times.
watching a farce like this unfold is embarrassing.
For the fans the club and the general spectators of the game.
what im saying might seem to you like i have a grudge or i have some kind of inside knowledge etc
i can assure you i dont have a grudge.
My comments are based on what i know matched with what i have witnessed.
If you are dead set surprised that this CURRENT mess is the responsibility of the coach you are living in another galaxy.
Hiring Taylor was always risky.
why - look at his past records
you look at his relationship with players
listen to how current players dance around comments about him and or his "methods"
look at how past players / legends / also openly state - "we will have to wait and see"
there is never one bit of complete confidence shown towards him by anyone.
Privately - its a lot more raw.
im not sure how my comments are causing more harm, when there are other threads and people on here all saying exactly the same thing.
you must surely understand, the coach is the boss.
what he says goes. what he implements determines the success.
So far, this year he has taken your team the cusp of the wooden spoon
he has completely deflated his young roster and now hes saking the captain.
can you seriously tell me that is someone who is breathing confidence into the team, the organisation, the club.
come one mate, you might find what im saying a hard pill to swallow but its all their in the open.
