DOES THE CAPTAIN HAVE A SAY IN RECRUITMENT?

Am asking this question as I don't know if Robbie would be asked for his opinion on who to hire and who to fire. Anyone know the answer?

an officer ranking in most armies above a first lieutenant and below a major.
3.
an officer in the U.S. Navy ranking above a commander and below a rear admiral or a commodore.

a military leader.
5.
an officer in the police department, ranking above a lieutenant and usually below an inspector.
He has no say in recruitment i don't think any player in the NRL does…. thats why we have A CEO,Coach and a board.
 
I'd say he'd get a look in. It'd be hard to get a definite answer though, not sure many would be great friends with robbie and he hasn't posted on here too often :stuck_out_tongue:

Thanks Tigersman altho I would have thought that the Captain and senior players would get asked as whenever as MD I hire a new important person always ask senior managers for their opinion as they ultimately have to work with them and value their opinion. May be rugby league is a different to the real business world.

Robbie has no say in recruitment. BUT he can still express his feelings and opinions to the coach,ceo and the board and i bet hes feelings and opinion are highly valued.
 
Farah would have a say on everything involved with our club…therein lies the problem. The players need to focus solely on playing football and not forming coups and creating mutinies within the club. Robbie is the all-seeing eye at WT without a shadow of a doubt.
 
I'd say he would be privy to what goes on and may even be asked opinion from time to time,but as to having a say I would say that's doubtful,but you never know.
 
Where do u guys come up with this stuff. U guys would get a walk in job with the terrorgraph.

I would think that the club would prefer to let go of a coach or two instead of losing our best player. Honestly, if Farah got the s#*ts and resigned because he didn't like the coach, which great players would be queueing up to join us? None. A coach is more expendable than our best player unfortunately.

Very true mate but what if the players don't like the next six coaches, do we keep going. Enough is enough if the players are still holding onto power.

Absolutely, 100% that Potter needs to be given more of a go. Our players need to grow a set of figs and realize that in life you are gonna have a boss who perhaps you mightnt get along with and agree with, that is reality. Get on with the job or p#*s off I reckon.
And judging by our band of nancies on the board and in management yes I think they would get rid of 6 coaches and still let the players run the club. We are an embarrassment.
