Don’t have a go at the club, the questions are asked by other people from the media in the press conferences, this is pretty much just writing down what they said

When they actually do their own stuff it’s quite good but would be hard with covid and everything. The stupid reporters ask the same questions every week

Author - Dan Talintyre

This one is there own stuff..

All the quotes are from the press conference Adam did with reporters, Dan can only write about what they talk about.

He could write his own stuff.

So is Madge admitting his training methods of the past are wrong ??? Again??? as he said he had learnt from his time at the Bunnies after he had signed with us ???

The players have said they’re still training at very high intensity, it’s not really ‘relaxed training’ despite what the headline says, sounds like they’re just trying to have a little more time off and make better use of their breaks when they can

Less meetings ......Madge and his Uncle Brian Smith are known to have more meetings than the AJC

Again you could see the players looked mentally and physically drained the week before the Warriors games ..but the coach took 2 more weeks to notice it ...one injury cost us the one player who may have got us to the semis ......

All the other big teams can handle the training. Boys just didn’t show up on the field, every single week they all talk about how good training is but it’s not showing up on the field, it’s more mental than anything, hence ‘less meetings’.

No not all the coaches ..they manage the loads better ...The Storm and Roosters lessen the load and then ramp it up again with about 6-8 weeks left ...funnily enough most rugby league clubs train players like Olympic swimmers .....hard off season lighten off before trials ramp up big before the Olympics and then back off again just before Olympics

Plenty of players have said it’s no tougher than any other club they’ve been at. It’s no excuse, the players went out there and didn’t have a dig that’s on them.

It is different ....must clubs now are ramping up their training loads ...madge is lightening up the load now

Tell me I was wrong ...we looked cooked v the Warriors

We’ve had games like that for the last 10 years, rock up against teams we should beat and don’t look like we’re even trying. No matter what coach we’ve had that’s happened.

Again, training isn’t any less intense, they’re training just as much at a high intensity, just trying to make better use of their off time and if there’s a longer turnaround between games have one session that’s a little relaxed. No major different to actual training

So Aloiai , Grant ,Lucy , didn't have their worst games of the season v teh Warriors because they were gone

The whole team had one of those games, I’ve seen it a million times before, don’t do anything all game and try win it with 5 minutes left and score points then. . Those three were still our best players but it was a vintage tigers performance

It came because they had come off games against Penrith and Parra and they were mentally /physically shot

Grant should of been rested ...and seeing madge couldn't see that our season is cooked

Grant still played better than his ? replacement, whoever it would've been.

If the relaxed training is bringing out the best, when will we see that in the on field performance? Will it show on the scoreboard? Will opposition forwards still run through our middle and waltz around our fullback for 50mt tries? What are the signs to look for?

Well that for me was the sign we were gone

When a player who had been having the season of their career stop working back on the inside 25 minutes into a game and let a prop go 50 metres they are obviously struggling

The hooker looked like he'd spent 3 days in a washing machine at the end of the game

And busted himself up ......was it worth it with the run we had coming up

We'll we didn't lose anything against Canterbury.

Bar our dignity ...we almost got beaten by a side that was easily beaten by Brisbane

Take from that what you will

What I take is 2 points. You don't get 2 points for dignity Hap.

What about confidence ......I'm sure they are cock a hoop after beating the 16th best side by a point after blowing a 16 point lead ....almost as bad as the 12 point leads v Titans and Warriors

Wonder when we play the 1st ,2nd ,3rd ,4th , 7th and 9th best sides how that victory will help

I’m just saying, the situation could be compared with our previous #1 whom many on here accused of being too small, but when Tamaulolo strolled through our forwards centre field he nailed him. Stopped him in his tracks. Now I’m not the worlds best judge, but I think the cowboys Dally M player has one of the best steps in the NRL. Not to mention the previous #1 was on half the money.

You can get injured in any game of footy... you don’t rest players against weaker teams because you’ve got harder games coming up, that’s the opposite type of mentality we’re trying to build

But, we often hear ’one town teams have an advantage’ as an argument to relocate! Tell this to GT, Warriors, and now even the Donkies!

I reckon the Warriors will become a superpower in 4-5 years with Gould in charge of recruitment and junior talent

As for Brisbane in my 45 years of following league I've never seen a coach destroy a club as quickly and badly as Seibold has to Brisbane

Gold Coast ...well they are looking pretty good and if the rumours around Cameron Smith are right ...bloody hell they could be a Top 4 side in 2021

If Gould can actually make a good juniors system there and keep all the young NZ boys at the warriors they’ll go good eventually. Penriths success at the moment is largely based off their junior players

And busted himself up ......was it worth it with the run we had coming up

You can get injured in any game of footy... you don’t rest players against weaker teams because you’ve got harder games coming up, that’s the opposite type of mentality we’re trying to build

Yet Melbourne rested players v the Dogs ...Munster said if had of been a semi Smith would have played ...Roosters have rested Flanagan and Cordner ...Koraisai (despite somone saying he'd be out for 6 weeks ) rested ....the best sides do it ....

You put Poms to shame when it comes to whinging ....
Fairdinkum ... go to work !

943 nuggets to go ...hurry up

What's your source lol

Flanagan was dropped the coach confirmed that. Cordner is being rested due to multiple concussion and Korisau had an elbow injury that put him out a few games. Cameron Smith still isn’t playing either due to injury

Yeah OK ...a coach isn't going to admit he rested a player ...would be like sticking rocket fuel into the opposition coaches pre match speech ...they don't even rate you ...they are resting players .....
