Doueihi

He certainly looked more dangerous with the ball in the centres. He's an interesting player because he's easily our best under the high ball, and has made plenty of kick return metres, but lacks the outright speed to be a constant threat at fullback. His build and running style is more suited to the centres but I think he could make a go of it at 6.

It's obvious that Reynolds is on the outer and with Benji gone next year, there's an opportunity for Doueihi at 6 - I think we have enough centres on the books that we'll see him at 6 next season.

I believe the club's plan is for him to play 5/8th but I dont think he and Brooks will be a good combo. Madden and Duoeihi may work but then we are back to 2 inexperience players playing in the halves and I don't like that either.

Interested to see what happens with Madden next year. Brooks really needs to find some form.

That is a really difficult question, I honestly believe we need an upgrade in the halves for next season but if I had to go with a combo that is already here I would trialling Madden at half, Brooks at 5/8th Doueihi in the centres and Mbye at fullback. I do have concerns with Mbye under the high ball though so he would be catching bombs everyday over the off-season.

Mbye produced some smart kicks on the last when he chimed in at left half, kicking low to the corners instead of the usual bomb our other halves use as their go to play.

Mbye needs to be in a play making role, either the 6 or the 1. I like him getting into 1st receiver last night

Do you think Willow that Adam may still be carrying an injury and hence his lack of speed or is he just one paced...

Looked a bit quicker to me last night.
I didn't think he was a centre but he showed plenty of potential in attack.
Defense a worry but had plenty of friends.

AJ played well and nofo in top form. It is probably best if we can convert JAC to FB

Goal kicking was splendid & no more tears .

I get you don’t rate him, which is your prerogative, but it’s classless and petty that you have to constantly have digs at him for being emotional that night.

Yep . Crying after a agame he really wanted to win , shows passion , dedication and love of the jersey .Crying is just an expression of emotion , it’s not emotion itself . Many times it’s actually emotion boiling over. I’ve seen many a dude cry , before he lost it and caved a blokes head in. Which probably would t have happened if people didn’t make out crying meant you were soft.

Douehi will fill out into a huge lump of a lad, he will be a big physical presence in 2-3 years. Be interesting to see where he finds his niche. Was great last night, been one of our best all year.
Would like to see him work on his passing game in the off-season and see how he goes at 6.

Still prefer to off load him for the $ he on does not add much value, Played better at fullback last night with kicking game but still suss under the high ball, pass mark last night.

If Madge does retain him need to ensure is not Captain and maybe a good bench utility player.

AD should remain at centre, took Madge a long time to work out that's a better position for him than fullback?????

Yeah but if he loses what speed he does have ...he's finished

I don't know if it took him a while to work that out or if he was just the safest option in the role, Doueihi won't make many mistakes at fullback but he just doesn't have enough in attack.

Mbye if he makes the 17 next year should be bench utility.

That is only if we can find a fullback, we are in desperate need at that position.

So you've retired him at 22 years of age??? Good way to look at it? Sheesh.

Just move him into the forwards that's a natural transition from Centre once they lose some speed.
I do like his height and hands with that cross field kick its hard to defend against.
