Not quiet a first grade number 6

You’re half right. Unlike Mbye who struggles, Doueihi is one of the best players at the club and has to be there somewhere.

But he wouldn’t make the starting storm side ..
that’s how far behind we are

He’d be a starting centre

Would spend a lot of time being sent back to reserve grade to work on his defence

Douehi was one of our better players yesterday ....but then again we probably only had 3 players yesterday that deserved getting paid

Stefano was heads and shoulders ahead of anyone else

Agree with Stephano, but Doueihi was nowhere to be seen in the first half. Much better in the 2nd half.

I think that he was most likely carrying an injury throughout the match.

Maybe a future no.13. He is certainly big enough and good ball skills. Might not get beaten in defence so easily in the middle. He can tackle, just not out in the open.

didnt have a great game yesterday amongst a host of bad players.
so you are saying he is better in the halves than Brooks and Hastings for 2022

He has more runs on the board than Hastings. Whether he’s better than Brooks is irrelevant because AD won’t be playing halfback.

He doesn’t work well with Brooks. I still believe he’s our best player, needs to be kept in the 6 instead of shuffling him around.

Hopefully it’s not a long term injury.

No one ever works well with Brooks.
Career long issue.

Cut the crap seriously. The same bloody armchair experts on here that say “Doueihi isn’t a 6” are the same people that praise him when he does well which has been close to 70% of this season. You’re also the same people that will next year say “Burton isn’t a 6” because he’s got a crap halves partner and once upon a time you probably said “Wighton isn’t a 6”.

This is the first time in his career where he’s consistently played 6, no thanks to Madge who wasted him for 4-5 games at centre. Listen to all the outside noise and everybody praises AD for his performances. Seriously if this dead heap of a club shifts him to centre next year to accomodate Brooks, I’m not here. Brainless decisions are made left and right at this club and taking Doeuhi out of 6 after one season would join them. So sick of seeing that comment on here.

The best indication of Doueihi being good is that he's one of two players that actually get praised by fans of other clubs... he's been one of our very best this year.

Tigers fans complain about having a bad roster and want to get rid of one of our shining lights, it's absolutely mind boggling. Doueihi HAS to be in our team every week!

and he is (finally) our 80%+ goal kicker!

AD had a poor first half, lacked energy and enthusiasm. Lay in the ground every time he made a tackle and ran the ball with no intent. He fired up for 15 minutes in the second half and that was it, much like a few others that showed some intent when we had already lost.

I can see why you may think that but my feeling after the whole Brooks-Doueihi combo thing earlier in the year is that he has been told to take a bit of a backseat and let Brooks run the team.
His natural game is to be dominant and I think that is where he may be struggling at times - when to call the shots and when to sit back. If Brooksy was to move on it would be interesting to see how he will settle with Hastings (who is also a dominant half).
