He improves his positional play at the back and he could be a real asset. If he doesn't I'd still mark him as our long term 6 and chase a quality fullback.
I see him as a 6 as well .....your fullback with the current rules needs to sit around the middle of ruck like a bad smell waiting for any 2nd phase ....Douehi does not seem to do that ...but then again I'd say the same for Brooks as well
Mate , there’s a reason the best fullbacks are supreme athletes . I remember there was a rexona battle of the codes fitness challenge like 10 years ago on channel 9 . It had Billy Slater , Delidio ( Richmond tigers player) , that redhead pole vaulter, I think John steffenson , some soccer player etc. Slater lapped the field . He was almost as aerobic fit as Delidio and the best track athletes , but absolutely destroyed them at anything requiring explosive repetition or strength.
I always remember that when I watched him, and now Tedesco , run around . Doueihi to me on Saturday , played amazing , but he looked tired a few times he made a half break . When he gets fitter and grows into his body , he is going to go alright I reckon . He’s still 21. I can’t wait to see what he looks like at 25. And he looks to be Tigers through and through
