DRAGONS frontrower Jarrod Saffy has been ruled out of tomorrow night's preliminary final against the Wests Tigers after succumbing to a quad injury.
The rugby-bound Saffy has been battling the injury since St George Illawarra's 28-0 win over Manly a fortnight ago.

Saffy, who was to play from the bench, has been replaced by giant prop Jon Green.

The 25-year-old was unable to stretch out during a training session at Redfern Oval today, forcing Wayne Bennet to rule him out. Saffy has signed with new Super rugby franchise the Melbourne Rebels for next season.
