Dragons looking to sign Galloway, maybe lawerence - Rumour

This is a joke right? Why would the Dragons possibly take on Galloway and Lawrence? These two are perfect examples of the sought of dumb recruits we would buy certainly not the type of players the Dragons would chase…. they buy guys like Widdop and Dugan!
As much as it would be a dream outcome - along with getting rid of Moltzen, Buchanen, Luani, Rowe, Brown, and losing Anasta and Paterson - I'm afraid we will be stuck with them!
Imagine though, just for a few moments - and imagine we buy a classy, tough young centre and a fast winger, and a couple of big. tough mongrel running back rowers. No-one gets injured either.........just imagine.........and then we woke up.

You all know the saying … " if a jobs worth doing it's worth doing properly "
Galloway's not doing his job properly !
His hit-ups are that inept it's like he's jogging on a treadmill ... Every time you pull on the jersey you should give it your all !
I'd even swap him for Heighington !!!!!!!

According to OP this rumour was contingent on Morris signing with the doggies.

Well there are (unconfirmed) reports this morning, that the Dragons may release him to take up the dogs offer.

Interesting…

Actually Abraham, there are confirmed reports that the Dragons have no intention of releasing Morris and have made an official complaint against an unnamed club (Bulldogs) for offering a contract for 2015 to a currently contracted player!

All this confirms is that Morris' intention is to leave, but as with Austin (if we does actually want to leave), it comes down to whether his club wants to release him early. Otherwise its 2016 for both players.

Balmain Boy, they cant make a complaint because the anti-tampering deadlines have been recently abolished by the NRL. So don't know where you got that info from.

Canterbury made Morris a big offer, and the Dragons apparently think they are paying Morris too much for a winger. What the end result of all that is, is not yet certain.

But the Dogs are not allowed to offer Morris a contract for 2015, only 2016! Unless they are given permission to negotiate an early start date by the club.

Rival clubs are not allowed to entice players to seek early releases from the contracts. The can approach a club to do so, but the club can just tell them to get stuffed. Which is what Manly did with Matai, what the Broncos did with Hoffman and what we should do with Austin.

I'm no legal expert when it comes to NRL contracts but it's against the rules/ethics or whatever you want to call it to tap up players for the same period in which they already have a contract.

Heard on MMM that it looks like Morris will get his release to go to the Dogs…

So as per the OP is Keithy and Rowdy off to the Dragons?

Can you possibly see the Dragons wanting Lawrence

I can see them wanting Keefy as he adds size to their squad , but Lawrence in his current state doesn't offer anything to the Dragons imo

You can never have enough first grade props… I say we keep sauce but as a bench/ impact player
