That opening try was a disgraceful decision. Not sure if it was 'technically' correct in the rule book or not but given he was on the ground, his forward momentum had been halted and he had a player on him that should never have been awarded.

What is it with referees/video refs and their love of the Dragons?

I obviously have no love for the bulldogs but the 50/50s that have just gone to the dragons is ridiculous. The mutual gratification from the commentators is becoming sickening.

Dragons = most boring team in the comp.
Young is NOT a hooker.
Ennis made a good save from the Soward kick but as mentioned, nothing impressive in the 1st half.

Very high quality game with both sides sticking it to each other although the Dragons attack looks the more predictable of the two teams. Neither Ennis or Young have done anything particularly good in attack. Can't see either of them benefitting NSW with the style they play.

Dragons still win. Its going to take a mighty effort to beat these boys.

Absolutely fed up with that moron Gould and his out of line praise for Ennis. He actually attributed Canterburys comeback to his niggle.

I don't like either team usually but I'm glad canterbury lost although the drags looked to lose their way a bit in the second half. Gould's comment about Ennis sums up the quality of the commentary team. I don't know why the defence don't hit Ennis hard when he runs out from dummy half and picks up runners, tonight there was plenty of opportunity but no one touched him :angry:
