Dugan to the Dogs ?

If Dugan stays at St George, Ava to Sharks then we are every chance of signing Packer.

Bulldogs would never let Josh Jackson leave but I would love him in WT colours.

If dogs have signed Woods and Foran then we should offer James Graham a contract. Still has plenty to offer and plays with passion as well.

Sharks just pillage players from junior development teams and obviously do a good job at it. They don't have many junior in their team . Imagine the $$$$ from the stupidity from decisions like tigers parra ect. This does seem unfair and maybe compensation should be look at. There not many reasons for us to continue with junior s

I cannot believe anyone else is going to the Dogs at this stage, it is not conceivable.

If all of Foran, Woods and Dugan have really signed on, Dogs will need to find suitors for about half their contracted players.

Yes we signed Reynolds but he was already off contract, that money is still small fry compared to the potential contracts of the 2 now 3 rumoured.

A lot of the Bulldogs players are under contract so they are going to have to pay part of the contract at other clubs that's if another club will take them, and if the other clubs know that the dogs are under cap pressure they will play hard ball with the dogs.
Could be interesting times ahead.

There's already a laundry list of reasons why I wouldn't touch Dugan with a ten ft pole. Another is if we can get by picking up Lolohea or Edwards, we'd be paying them probably a 1/3 of what we'd pay Dugan. That would enable us to go after another quality back rower. McQueen is a step up from what we have, but we need more imo.

definately. Forwards are our main concern now.

Dugan is staying at the Dragons 850k 3 years will be done next week.

This is great news (for us and other teams - not St George)

The Dragons have signed Widdop, Hunt, now Dugan and also significantly upgraded Vaughan's contract. The Dragon's cap must be under some stress and if Ava is on the way to the Sharks, we must have someone in the pipeline to replace him.

Yep Widdop, Hunt and Dugan must be around 30% of their cap.

Kasiano to Knights, Mbye to Cowboys, Lichaa ???

Kasiano to the Knights would be an odd choice for the club. They have big young forwards who go alright. Their problem is mainly in their halves. Hodgkinson has been woeful (its like watching a geriatric play football) for them and Brock Lamb has been largely ineffective. They also any genuine weapons in the backline apart from Gagai. I like Nathan Ross but there was a reason why he took so long to make first grade and Brendan Elliott is just another honest trier.

If I was the Knights, I would be looking to use my cash in the halves and outside backs. If they can, of course.

I also don't get the Mbye to the Cows rumour. The Cows are generally excellent at recruitment. Mbye is probably the 26 best halfback in the game (yes that includes State Cup players). I wouldnt go near him and can't see the Cows doing it. They could get a far better half for far less money.

Well they would be getting him for far less money.
He signed a new contract recently with Bulldogs so they will be paying at least half his wages

My view is that $250K is $200K too much for Moses Mbye.

But even if that wasn't the case the fact you are getting him cheap doesn't make him a better player. A Cows side with Mbye (and without JT) would struggle to come better than 12th.

I don't mean to be harsh because Mbye seems like a really top bloke, just a very ordinary footballer.

And people question our recruitment. The Dogs have signed up 4 props on big deals and now decide they want Aaron Woods.
