@WT2K @TIGER Be on a magic carpet headed for Concord by next Monday - at the absolute latest... Madge still unsure if Penrith will make a play for our bookends & DWZ not thrilled about loss of value on his last contract/whether he’ll end up being 1st choice FB here 🐯

Either way the dominos will fall this week

Funny how people don't actually seem to read properly. If this guy's mail is on the money (who knows) DWZ isn't happy about our contract offer because he's going to be paid like an outside back and not on ludicrous fullback money. Harsh but that's where he's at these days.

Hence he wouldn't be playing fullback if he came to us. And yes he'd be our best winger or centre if he joined us. But I'd only take him if he's on the right amount, which it sounds like he will be.

so we are signing someone who is a) unhappy at being payed less to come here and b) unhappy at not having his favorite position guaranteed?

well this sounds like a great plan, what could possibly go wrong....

He’s also a midget !

@Zach not set in stone really, he’s keen and Madge is corresponding with the people in the know to get a second opinion of why he is so badly out of form.

He is only entertaining coming here ATM and on his day would be a sterling addition to the side

Mbye to 5/8 or hooker, where we already have two 5/8s and two hookers, while retro fitting DWZ into fullback, which is the position Mbye was originally signed to fill (probably the only position he’d be competent in, if history is anything to go by). This is all sounding very Sheenius..

So one minute he'll be here asap now he's entertaining the idea of joining us?

I guess one of the issues is his humility and humbleness. It wouldn't be easy to think you're at a certain level, only to have it put bluntly that others don't think you're that good any more. We all all have a certain ego and it's not easy to be put in your place when you're used to being top dog. It could make him determined to prove people wrong, or he could arrive grumpy but happy to just have a pay check. If anyone could talk him into making his mark as an outside back its Madge though

Dwz. Not needed or wanter here for mine.

Save the cash and spend on someone who wants to be at the club and will battle for his spot.

Wonder if the injury to Kahu tips the favour to the cowboys, since they can offer him what he wants that being fullback

@Zach Does any body actually know ...if...why...and what DWZ thinks ? A lot of assumptions made here ! A top class player has been linked to the club and there are pages of negativity.. I sometimes wonder if many that post here ever watch our games and witness the quality or lack of that is on show weekly! So I say no to DWZ as he would want to get paid what he is worth funny about that . Pay peanuts get monkeys but they are the right price !

On the other hand, agreeing to play fullback for the Cowboys is a bit like agreeing to play drums in Spinal Tap at the moment. Maybe best avoided.

Per Daily Telegraph

"In a major shake-up to the Panthers and Tigers line-ups, a player trade will happen this week involving Dallin Watene-Zelezniak.

In exchange the Tigers will have to give up one of their players with Russell Packer, Ben Matulino and Elijah Taylor all in the mix."

Matulino would be the player i would least like to lose imo.

Me too, but he’s most likely the one Penrith will want!

Fingers crossed it's not.
