This would be the icing on the cake ! He is on the outer to make way for the favourite son Burgess ,the team needs a strong centre just what is needed go hard as this signing could be a season changer! Has one year left on his contract so where ever he goes Souths will be paying part there off.

Brooks -Moses -Simona- Walker-Nofo-Kev N ? - Teddy a few points in that lot . Maybe a Farah swap 😛ray:

Is there a source for this…? Have WT been linked as a possible destination for Walker...?

Lol cmon guys, our biggest signings for the year are 2 qld cup guys and you think we're a chance of grabbing the best young center In the game who has already won a comp and played for Australia?

From Ninemsn :

Souths have no room in their salary cap to afford Burgess unless they shed a big name star and Walker, who was embroiled in a prescription drug overdose last month with teammate Aaron Gray, appears to be the player most likely to make way for the powerhouse backrower, according to a News Limited report.

The report claims the lightning-quick centre could possibly head to Manly with new Sea Eagles coach Trent Barrett a fan of the 21-year-old.

Walker, who can also play five-eighth, shapes as a potential replacement for premiership-winning playmaker Kieran Foran, who has joined Parramatta.

We should've hired Manly's Salary Cap Accountant

I was thinking the same thing how the hell would they have room in the cap, we're obviously just atrocious with ours

Would be a great pickup, but sadly we're more likely to re-sign Shane Walker.

Lol… I wouldn't mind, as long as we sign his brothers too. Just in case JT doesn't work out.

No chance of DW coming to the Tigers.

We are a dead set rabble of an organisation. Players leaving due to being unhappy at the club, the club trying to knife Farah out of the club…......I mean why would a 21 year old gun centre potentially destroy his career at a club in its current turmoil.....it just wont happen.

He will end up at a club like Manly. Roosters would also be likely but they would not have cap space.

In a year or two if the Tigers can put the turmoil behind them and maybe have some success on the field then we could potentially attract a player of his statue, but at the moment - we just are not in that league.

The only players we can attract ATM are players looking at resurrecting their careers or looking to break into the NRL ( thats why we were able to get guys like Austin, Taupau etc ) here in the 1st place. But once they had proven themselves and the club was still a mess.....THEY WALKED AWAY AS FAST AS THEY COULD.

So the real message to the club is...........sort your mess out quickly, otherwise they future will never get any better.

Why is there no chance. I reckon if we offered the best deal he would be here telling everyone exactly what they wanted to hear - i.e. Robbie is the best player in the game or JT is the best coach in the game or both comments in the same sentence.

Not sure that Dylan Walker fits into the new 'culture' that the club is trying to build. Or does he? Or who cares as long as he has got some talent?

I think the "re-sign" is referring to Shane Walker the old Prop from Balmain.

This bloke can play 1-6 and with the exception of Teddy, is better than anyone we have!

Whilst this is true, we'd have to be seriously long odds on the tote to pick him up Watto.
