Dear innsaneink
Transport for NSW is always looking to improve our customers’ experience and provide greater value. As part of this commitment, we are currently phasing out E-Toll tag deposits and crediting back deposits into account balances for customers to use towards toll-road travel.
What this means for you
You will receive a credit of $40 in your E-Toll account 14938276 for the eligible tag deposits you have paid.
The credit will appear on your October E-Toll statement as “account credit”.
The amount of credit you will receive depends on how many tag deposits you have paid. Only tag deposits that have been paid and we’ve held will be credited back.
What you need to do
There is nothing you need to do. There is no change to the way you use your tag or your account.
The additional balance on your account can be used towards your tolls or your outstanding toll notices. To use your credit to pay an outstanding toll notice, you will need to log on to the toll provider’s website and transfer the outstanding toll notice to your tag account by selecting “pay by tag”.
Also, just a reminder to please return any tags you no longer use. To find out how to return your E-Tag, visit myetoll.transport.nsw.gov.au/help-and-faqs/faulty-damaged-lost-or-stolen-tags.
If your tag is lost or stolen, you can report it through your online account. If your tag is stolen and you have a recent police event number, please contact our call centre on 13 18 65 to report the incident.
If you have any questions about your E-Toll account, please visit myetoll.transport.nsw.gov.au or call
13 18 65.
Regards,
The E-Toll Team
