Easter Monday Game

It’s a bit of a ritual that a few mates and I go to the Easter Monday game. Some are parra fans, some are tigers fans. Over the past 10 years us Tigers fans have rocked up, knowing that we’d probably lose…funnily enough, this Easter Monday game no eels fans can make it.

It’s a great reminder of how committed our fan base is compared to others and just imagine what it will be like when we’re consistently back in the 8 again and challenging for titles. Galvin and any of the other young guns would be stupid to leave.

Yeah well if their champion halfback holds both the world and Olympic record for downhill skiing . . . would you expect any different of their fanbase ?

The next neighbour who is married to Chief Squaw Crow Feet, we call him Dances With Crows, well he is a pawa fan and has little pity digs about the footy all the time, and during our last win against them I was quite vocal. Purposely vocal to the point Mrs BF said “geez ya loud today, the neighbours will hear you”

So obviously I need a win on Easter Monday or it will be fairly vocal the other way. But he has done that many times before.

All of my in laws are Parra fans and its become a tradition for a number of years that we attend that game. At this stage they all seem to”busy” on that day. Bloody sooky la la fans
