Didn't realise he missed that many tackles, sorry for trying to be positive after a win!

@ said:Thats because they arent first graders.
@ said:Lovett, Edwards, JLJ. These are the players, no matter how well they play are the forum's designated punching bags. They're never to be praised, ever.

Edwards has played over 100 games. Not sure if that's enough games to constitute a first grader.

I think you know what I mean. Lets not get silly.
Edwards had the best game ive seen him play today, but its a rarity. Would he be a first grader at any of the top 8 teams. Thats what we want to be isnt it?
@ said:At full strength he doesn't play but he was good today, I don't know where the 10 missed tackles stat is coming from I can't find it NRL.com but he did make 29 including 5 x 1 on 1 tackles which was more than anyone else. Sure Lovett makes 30 tackles but never does he dominate. We had a good win let's enjoy it.

@ said:@ said:I will be the first to admit he hasn't done much since joining us but I have to give the guy credit, strong effort today and really tightened up our middle.
Are you for real mate, the guy missed 10 tackles against a reserve grade quality team, the guy makes Lovett look good.
@ said:Grant, Lawrence and Aloiai in the side would mean … NO Lovett, edwards or MCK.

The complaints really are tiring. The way our cap has been so mismanaged, players like him are a by product of it. What do you expect?
@ said:According to the stats Nathan Ross made nearly 200m today, not bad for one of the worst blokes on the park.
I thought Edwards was strong, didn't hit it up much and I didn't notice him miss 10, his involvements that I noticed were covering Brooks (who defended exceptionally well) and stopping players in their tracks. Not his biggest fan but I thought he played well today. The only time I notice Lovett is when he's losing ground each run or letting opposition run past him unchecked.
Happy to keep him on in NSW Cup, he can do a job in first grade if needed (as he showed).
