Eels Drama

Not sure if anyone posted already …. but .... The Lurker reports something you will all find very familiar:-

There’s mail of more drama at the winless Eels, with star five-eighth Mitchell Moses believed to be angry with the state of affairs at the club.

Moses has taken exception to Jarryd Hayne’s alleged short cuts at training - and let the staff know as much at training last week.

Moses definitely didn’t seem to have his heart in Saturday night’s loss to Cronulla.

He didn’t run the ball once - a remarkable statistic for a key attacking player on big money - and was barely sighted.

It’s certain to lead to a very interesting review session at the Eels.

Oh, to be a fly on the wall.

Its all a bit predictable - Eels losing - blame the egos and the Hayne curse.
Not sure how much truth is in any of it - but if Easter Monday game is anything like the previous few, they will be ready to go and that's all we should be caring about.

We also don't know how Arthur handled the tanties, if they really happened. He may have read them the riot act and told them to pull their heads in and perform. I wouldn't plan on taking them lightly. Not to mention, Moses would like nothing better than to get one over his old club. The club that pulled his contract and made him feel unwanted.

Are going to get this every week?

If our boys get beat this week by a slick Eels outfit but are in the game until the end, and still defending like demons, I’m still loud and proud.

I heard that Norman and Moses are upset with Hayne because he has unfairly gotten Bevan French and Bard Takarangi to change positions in the team when they went great last year without Hayne apparently Bevan French is a real nice guy loved by all team mates and they want to blow the Tigers off the park this week to prove a point to the coach that they don't need Hayne

Well a win would be even sweeter knowing Mitch expects to shine.

This is my concern with playing them now. It's the first time Hayne will be out and the weak excuses for humans that are Mitchell Moses and Corey Norman will be fired up by the chance to pass it all off as somebody else's fault (Hayne's).

That is probably true.

But all it proves to me is that Mitchell Moses cant just suck it up and play football. He did the same crap here when he didnt get his way.

I doubt its Haynes fault.

Oh geez if all of this is true then Hayne has to be the most divisive player of all time! Just look at what happened at the Titans with him there last season and now with Parra, who seemed to be a pretty tight and happy bunch towards the end of last year. Enter Hayne and the crap starts!

Not negating Norman's and Moses's part in all the drama - we all know how petulant they can be, but they were all getting along pretty well unti Hayne came along. Thank God we didn't sign him!

How are the Titans going this year without Hayne?

They lost 54-8 on the weekend.

We can beat therewith or without Hayne. They are out of sorts. Dangerous but out of sorts.

I think we can win.

I’ve got a source around Parra, who says most individuals aren’t the biggest Hayne fans. Apparently he finishes dead last in fitness drills and takes shortcuts….... and not so surprisingly is up himself massively.

It’s hilarous because you could see this coming a million miles away. It’s a given wherever Hayne goes.

All this means is that Norman and Moses will overplay their hands when the pressure is applied through our defence. As long as we defend the way we have the past 3 weeks we will rattle them.

Moses rarely responds when the going gets tough. Cant wait to see Packer trample him into the dirt.

In the early games Hayne covered some of Slimy's defensive lapses.

Bevan French is 50/50 to play. Will smith will take his spot if he’s out. He had a shocker on the weekend
