Eels Exchange deal?

mortimer and robson was the worst first grade halves pairing i've seen in a long long while. And it certainly wasn;t all robsons fault.
Maybe we need a new water boy.

No no no no no. The only players I would take from the eels are Hayne and Allgood. Hunble is no different to a Beau Ryan or Mitch Brown. Mortimer is hopeless. We have halves depth in Marshall, Lui, Miller and Sironen. If we had to we could use one of the four NSW cup halves who would be better than paying money for Mortimer. Id rather Aaron Woods in the halves before Mortimer. Mortimer wouldnt get a run for the Warilla Gorillas!!!

Mortimer is a dead set oxygen stealer the bloke should run out the kicking tee or sell the hot dogs !I think tigers should try to retain all there good under 20s now and not chase any more over 30s from other clubs or blokes who jus cant cut it in first grade

we'd be the laughing stock of the nrl if we signed mortimer. popular opinion has him as one of the most overrated players of the last few yrs (though hes not really rated anymore)

Didn't someone say we had to offload players to sign our Juniors…...I think the fans bought it !
Now that's funny.

Even more amusing.

Note to Mullaney - Find out who manages these guys and ask him to get you a deal at Parra.

the whole deal seems odd ….where would mullaney fit in at parra ....as for mortimer ....its a fair swap imo ...neither will be playing first grade in the near future ....

If Mullaney is not contracted next year, why would there be an exchange?

well done….when was the last "exchange deal" between two clubs?....it simply does not happen.

Manly sent bani to the cowboys for one of there wingers in an exchange cant remember the cowboys player but it did happen

Seems like Parra have decided the best balance for them is Hayne at 6 with a fullback who is great at support play. Burt is filling that role now but is getting on in age and Mullanely seems a very similar player to Burt. I wouldnt be surprised if Mullanely gets first ccrack at the number 1 next year with Parra. Whether or not he can hold the spot all year is another thing.

There wouldnt be a swap for Mullaney as he doesnt have a contract for next year, & i am sure we wouldnt sign Mortimer.

So Roberts will play 5/8, Hayne back to fullback and Burt back to wing (no way they will drop him), where does this leave Mullaney?
