Knowing how incompetent and dodgy the NRL heirachy is it wouldn't surprise me if they let Parra play finals this year if they make it and enforce their -12 points suspension in the off season. Just as they did with the Cronulla drug cheats.
That'll teach 'em a lesson :brick:

I can understand a wry smile when you hit the posts , but I'm a 100% with you

 that doesnt even make sense -12 pts for what… auckland nines?

the cronulla one was because ASADA were absolute amateurs and wrong in most accusations so the NRL just saif eff you, and gave minimal punishment.

most people couldnt even tell what drugs (or drug type) the cronulla player were on and there intended effect (hint, it's not performance enhancing)

Well for & against will get better with every passing win.
Trouble is we usually win by a couple and lose by a lot, lol

It wasn't supposed to make sense….sorry the sarcasm went over your melon. It was stating that the NRL are so incompetent that yes,it would not surprise if Parra were allowed to serve their penalty in any pathetic sense during the off season.
Do you know for sure that Cronulla's drugs weren't performance enhancing? What were they guilty of then? Why the penalty?

Yeah me too! Missing out on 10 frigging points in one game is unforgivable, imo. It's not like we're winning every week and can afford to throw away points like that. Give Simona the kicking duties - his final kick may have been in front, but geez it sailed over sweetly and effortlessly compared to Moses' attempts last night.

the penalty was primarily for a poor structure/accountability put in place. the players were unknowingly injected with peptides (told it was all above board etc.) and given other clubs gettin calf's blood and generally needled up for games it didnt appear that dodgy coming from the club doctor.

peptides are recovery drugs, they help players recover quicker

im sure theyve had kicking comps during the week to select the kicker

maybe they can have another and simona will win, but i wouldnt hold your breath for good kicking at the tigs. we just dont have a 75%+ kicker at the club

Players don't get suspended due to poor accountability/structure. The peptides were obviously deemed to be not allowed so therefore constituted cheating.Geez if players got suspended for the lack of their club's accountability/structure the WT would have had players sitting out for years.

"the penalty was primarily…"

if the club wasnt at fault why did they cop a million dollar fine?

the suspensions were for the players, but they werent really that badly at fault hence the backdating. even the suspension as a whole was probably just to appease ASADA
