Elijah Taylor Final Game

One of my all time favourite players. ET gave everything each week, has a huge heart and seemed like someone all the other players really enjoyed playing with.

An absolute legend of the game!

Hadn’t seen that clip before- thanks for the link. What a thoughtful and humble guy ET is. So many players could learn plenty from him. I think we are losing some real qualities letting him go from our squad.

Thought it would have been nice for the guys ending their time with the Wests Tigers to get a mention and for the fans to be able to thank them for their efforts. Some more than others obviously.

Elijah Taylor for me was someone very special from the time he joined us. I love players that put in everything for the club and he certainly did so, every time he took the field. He gave everything,, blood, sweat and tears and then some. He may not have won too many awards and a lot of what he did for us went unnoticed by a lot of fans, because they were busy watching the flashy, outspoken players that seem to seek attention. He certainly copped some stick from a few Forumers who couldn't see past the nit picking penalties that he was pinged for (by biased refererees), whilst slowing the play down, so we could get organised for the next onslaught. In my opinion I feel he was told to go out and do that, because he was the only player we had that could, then he was accused of brain snaps. Really!

Personally I am very sorry that his contract has not been renewed for another year, his work around the ruck will be missed big time if some one doesn't step up to fill those hard hitting shoes. Elijah, I wish you and your family all the very best in the future, whatever that may hold and thank you from the bottom of my heart for everything you gave to the Tigers and I know that was everything you had.

THANK YOU!!!!!

Interesting to me how blokes like Mikaele and Twal are locked in for next year, however guys like ET and Huth are on the outer.

Huth and ET turned the match last night when they came on the field, and I can only respect blokes who dig in all efforts all game. Huthy for example, second week in a row 1-1 strip to give us a chance to turn the match.

I respect ET for being a machine and not slowing down even when his head has been split. If he was 10 kg heavier he'd be a walk-up starter every match.

Best of luck bro

Benji, Huth and ET are in the same boat.

Madge needs to change the squad and unfortunately there are too many people we have locked in for next year.

With Twal, Mikaele, Garner, MCK and Packe- there is no impact players
