Ellis a better import than I was: Hanley

Harvey Howard. The best for the pies. Hanley went ok and put bums on seats. I love Schofield and I have more fonder memories of him than Ellery.

Lee Crooks was my favourite, wether he was the best??? well thats a matter of opinion

alf give it up….schofield was a better player for the balmain club then hanley was...but i guess ellery gets more mention because he made a bigger impact over a short period and Balmain made the grand final that year.

Harvey howard was average but you cant ever say he didnt have plenty of ticker and he stuck by the magpies so that says something.

spot on SCHOEY was and still is my favourite all time player and he did it for both clubs .
