deserves his own thread…..

How good is this bloke..............seriously....

The hit on Poore will long live in my memory.......

He makes mtrs every time he carts it up...

His defense is outstanding....

Right up there will Marshall and Farah in importance to the Wests Tigers success....

Gareth Army..Gareth Army..Gareth Army.....

I don't know what we paid for him but he is worth every single cent. And to think he was in doubt for the game with injury. An outstanding player!

I cant seem to remember who it was that called Ellis a pillow and said he was a waste of money.

I think a lot of posters did until they saw him play. He has been one of our best players consistently.

He's a pommy who plays like an Aussie! That hit on poore was outstanding because it hurt Ellis more then it did poore, you could see he was hurting but what's he do…gets straight up to his feet and plays the whole 80mins.

He really is one of the best 2nd rowers in the game. I don't feel he gets the credit he deserves in the media though (which probably isn't a bad thing). I wouldn't swap him for any other backrower in the comp.

Excellent game last night in defence and attack. The hit on Poore was a beauty and I had a hard time separating that hit from the tackle Lawrence made which cut Reddy in half. Some very strong runs once again too, and a beauty of an offload to put Flanagan into open space. Although a bit smaller, Heighno looks to be trying to match Ellis in the leg drive department which can only be a good thing.

Unquestionably. There is no doubting his ability. Best pommy player I've seen.

we need ellis to extend his contract. wouldnt that be nice.

that reminds me. Im sure this has been posted but i haven't seen it.

he was on nrl fox 2 weeks ago & was saying how he now see's that aust is a fantastic place to raise a child. with it's great weather encouraging outdoor activities etc. even his wife said that she thought it would be really cool & unique for thier son to go back to the u.k with an aussie accent.

so we may get lucky with an extension to his contract.
