Good on him, we didn't have a problem when Taupau mocked the Rabbits crowd and i don't mind it when other players do it. Little bit of Banter is always good.

Speak for yourself. Was a grub act from Taupau and it was a grub act from Ennis.

:bawling

Want a tissue ???

Hehehe.
Pretty extreme, and sad, calling it a grub act. Holy moly!
Was great to see Ennis give it to the Raiders fans. They werent exactly shy in dishing it out at the game last week. Karma.
That viking clap thing is crap anyway- before the game half of the Canberra fans didn't even have the intelligence to clap in time, they just looked like imbeciles TBH.

I genuinely can't believe anyone has any problem with it at all. Perhaps they have an issue with the guy doing it, and don't need an excuse to lay the boot in.

I think the Viking clap is pretty cool… Adds to the atmosphere... As for timing.... I guess getting 20k people in synch isn't easy

Different story if Cammy did it.

Michael Ennis is a thoughtful student of the game who is a better than average footballer who displays shocking sportsmanship and grubby on field tactics. Not the legacy I'd prefer to leave but that's what he will leave. He is hated because his deep knowledge of the game does not transfer to his onfield playing style. He prefers to cheat.

Attacking opposition fans after a win makes him look like a Wayne Kerr. Maybe he should concentrate on ball security because his 4 dropped balls kept Canberra in the race.

Good work Eddie Munster. Viking clap eh that will do me. lol@ Ennis saying he hates traveling to Canberra, "not exactly the place for a weekend holiday" Only time ive ever taken a liking to the bloke.

Absolutely. But Cammy is just a knob no matter what he does from here on in. Not that fussed about the feelings of Raiders fans but if Cammy did that in front of Tigers fans I would be pinging a full can of beer at his forehead.

"He prefers to cheat". How exactly does he cheat? He is a pest certainly but I've never seem him do anything that is worthy of being called cheating.

Because Mick Ennis is so beloved?

He cheats by not playing within the spirit of the game. He rakes balls, he takes dives, hits kickers late…people call it niggling and a competitive attitude but it more than that. He pushes the line and usually crosses it to get advantage rather than using what skill he has. I say he is extraordinarily lucky to have played in this generation because he wouldn't have made a couple of years in the past ones.

That's Ennis, that's how he plays the game.

People say that he is a nice guy off the field so what I say? He won't be remembered in years to come as a nice guy off the field he will be remembered as the "grub" that will be his NRL legacy.

Raking the ball is cheating? 99% of NRL players do it.
The real grubby mongrels are the likes of Corey Parker, Ryan James etc.
Ennis is a competitive bugger- nothing more.
The Bulldogs would be glad they moved Ennis on to make room for Lichaa!

He's a tool, and I'm not really looking forward to seeing him join Anasta on Fox Sports next season.. Two of the biggest idiots to have played the game in the past decade.

I remember when Marty did that, I said to my kids, "now he has to back up that with similar performances". Didn't happen.

Sort of agree … Anasta is the biggest gibberer on Foxsports by far .
But like him or not Ennis knows his footy and is interesting to listen to .

Better than the old days of having to put up with Wayne Pearce , Gary Freeman and Laurie Daley :unamused:

I disagree with everything written here.

Well Ennis certainly kept his better game for tonight - whereas his previous team are already knocked out. They did Ennis a favour by moving him out.

I like Gary Freeman, as a player, commentator and he seems a good bloke got to talk to him once…at the Stop The Rot Save Leichhardt Oval media day years ago

Grub?

 Ok then.
You reckon the Bulldogs are glad they have Lichaa in their team instead of Ennis? Not a chance, they've made a dud call with that one.
