If they are going to continue to pick him, they need to tell him 'NO MORE KICKING' :bash

LOL….some of you guys are unbelievable.....Im sure you follow ennis closer than you own team, frantically looking for any mistake.

The difference tonight is that QLD has actually shown up tonight. They were poor in first 2 games. Nothing much has changed with Ricky imo.

I was begging for Ennis to be ok so he could come on and put Gidley to fullback for the pathetic Minichello. Sadly, Gidley wasnt much better

one kick from ennis and it all goes downhill, can just as easily say that it all went downhill after ennis went off. Leave the guy alone.

Ennis is a grub and crap to boot.
I cannot name any good things he's done this Origin series (on the field and during a game).
Can anyone?

Coughing up blood isn't usually good Could be kidneys ,ribs or lung . I know we don't like the guy But it could be a potentially serious injury

To be honest he doesn't contribute much other than mistakes. There was argument for his place in the team because "he puts pressure on kickers". Shame he doesn't offer anything with the ball when he is the player which handles the ball the most for the team.

I can't think of anything he has done to benefit NSW. Although he did put 1 kick in which led to a try for Bird a few origins ago…anymore?

I hope all the prawns who are supposedly Tiger supporters and said Farah wasn't deserving to be in SOO watched what was served up again tonight.
Hang your heads in shame and say five Hail Mary's.

Poor kick on an early tackle count giving QLD possession in good field position. Deserves all the criticism he gets.

It was a poor tactic poorly executed.

I was more concerned about the halfback who kicked it so far out on the full it almost went into the crowd

**THE turning point of the game came on the third tackle - of the game.**\
\
**Queensland kicked off and the Blues hit it up three times, Michael Ennis skipped out of dummy-half and kicked upfield and from there, for the next 38 minutes, Queensland seemingly never gave it back.**
Queensland had grabbed dominance in field position, an advantage they would press for most of the rest of the half.\
\
Queensland basically pitched their tent in the NSW half and stayed there for most of the rest of the first half, setting up a lead that was hard to pin back in any game.\
\
In Origin it is virtually impossible.\
\
The Toads then set about dominating the second rule of Origin, which is possession.
After 26 minutes the Queensland front-row of Matt Scott (6), Cam Smith (7) and Petero Civoniceva (3) had made 16 tackles._NSW's front-row - P_If there was one job the Blues had to get done heading into last night's game it was to start well and to have an even share of possession.\
\
They never got close.\
\
Billy Slater grabbed Ennis's kick and was pulled down five metres his own side of halfway and, already, aul Gallen (25), Ennis (14) and Tim Mannah (20) - had made 59.\
\
Queensland had an astonishing 70 per cent of possession.\
\
The Blues could do nothing against this but be brave, and time was running out on that.\
\
While Queensland led only 12-0, the great damage was being done beyond the scoreboard.\
\
And did they.\
\
After 26 minutes the Queensland front-row of Matt Scott (6), Cam Smith (7) and Petero Civoniceva (3) had made 16 tackles.\
\
NSW's front-row - Paul Gallen (25), Ennis (14) and Tim Mannah (20) - had made 59.\

\
The Blues could do nothing against this but be brave, and time was running out on that.\
\
While Queensland led only 12-0, the great damage was being done beyond the scoreboard.\
\
The Blues were burning up juice too quickly.\
\
Queensland was camped in NSW's half, which brings its own pressure and energy burn that can't be measured in stats.\
\
Against that, Queensland was travelling so well that by the time Scott and Civoniceva were interchanged after 26 minutes they had run for 40 more metres than the entire NSW team.\
\
Such was the weight of possession in Queensland's favour. And that is where the Blues lost it.\
\
This was an Origin game unlike the first two slugfests.\
\
It was as if the pressure of the first two games finally exploded into last night's opening free-for-all.\
\
For instance, in game two NSW completed 17 of their first 18 sets to go to the halftime break, while Queensland completed all 19 of their 19.\
\
Just one mistake came in the half.\
\
Yet last night the Blues had 10 from 15 while Queensland's completions were 18 from 22 at half-time.\
\
With the pressure valve seemingly compromised, the mistakes from both sides started early and continued on throughout.\
\
Both teams lost the shape in attack they had been so disciplined to maintain the first two games, and they came together like two aged prizefighters, too tired to finesse a win because it was now it all boiled down to guts.\
\
What was disappointing for the Blues was that it was crucial they started well.\
\
They didn't.\
\
They started poorly in game one and basically lost the contest there.\
\
Making the trek back to Suncorp Stadium last night they were desperate not to repeat the mistake.\
\
Yet they did.\
\
So after all the fun and games of the past six weeks, the Machiavellian scheming, the simmering emotions of the coaches, the "ducks and drakes", the pressure on the refs, the judiciary, the conspiracy theories, the heroics and the rejuvenation of Origin, Queensland now have six straight Origin series, one for every toe.\
\
Well done Queensland._

If people want to put him under a microscope that's their prerogative. He's lucky the Blues hand out guernseys like lollies because if he was a Queenslander, Pom or Kiwi he'd never get anywhere representative duties.
