Esan Marsters Debut

Whilst he did some good things, he needs a lot of work on defence and was the problem with the Frizzel try. Looks to have a future in the top grade if he can miss a few less tackles.

I think this has already been posted in the team thread…

Yeah well it's in a seperate thread now…get over it

My apologies…Yes he deserved his own thread...after just watching the replay their will be many more on Esan...

Deserves to keep his spot in the side based on his debut..

Went well, hopefully we don't see Edwards in FG again now.
Can he play at 7? Maybe he can replace JLJ too, it wouldn't be hard to throw passes behind people along the ground.

Decent debut from Marsters….would like to see him run some nice inside edge lines as he has the size, speed and power esp close to the line. Defence was okay but he will learn. Much better seeing him than Lovett in the side.

Did well, deserves more opportunities. If he can continue to play like yesterday he'll overtake MCK who I believe is currently his main competition in the roster.

I thought he was pretty impressive for a young guy playing decent mins against a very good pack. More to come hopefully, but he looks to have something about him.

Watching the replay, he clearly calls his man early and takes him. Lolohea misread the play and went after the second man rather than Frizell.

Better have another look Ricksen as Masters announced Frizzel as his and "clearly" pointed Liddle to take the inside man. Plain as day his fault as he is sliding and then goes back in on the inside player leaving a gaping hole.
