Yeah, he looked very strong, but let's not forget, the Kumuls are essentially a reserve grade team so I'm not getting too excited.

He definitely didn't look out of place with the big boys though considering his age.

This. Not meant to be mean, but he was playing with and against players who are mostly amateurs (Glenn being the exception). He should stand out. Hope he makes it but some ISP teams would be stronger than PNG or the Cooks.

I was about to post the same thing. He was basically playing reserve grade opposition. Still not sure about him at centre but he's earnt a chance I think.

There can't be to much risk involved with putting him on the bench against Souths.

Great news about Suli and Marsters and their continued improvement. And kudos to the club for getting their signatures with competition from several other clubs.

Heleta…no, Masters maybe, too small for a 2nd row, too slow for a centre .. at least he gives 110%.

Heleta is not ready for FG. I wouldn't mind giving Marsters a run off the bench if either of our starting backrowers are injured.

Thought the Sea Eagles were signing Heleta.. Maybe was just a rumour…

Heleta has shown nothing in my view to warrant playing NRL, Marsters is worth a bench spot.

Heleta has been on the verge for a couple of pre seasons now. I think he is better than his cowboys trial game and 9's. He is a player that i think could make rapid progression with a string of games and opportunities in the nrl. I liken him to Simona before he made his Nrl debut.

110kg at 20 years old is too small for the 2nd row these days is it?

I think Masters should be given a shot, sometimes i think we over think the relevance of body shape. strength and speed is damaging in a team that plays direct imo.

not sure about Heleta
