Watto….this is nothing new...with every loss the frustration of the past spills over into the present....

Are Sheens decisions open to critisism and debate ....Yes of course they are....I mean a rookie Prop, a secondrower asked to play Prop, an average back and a State Cup debutant on the Bench.....Are you kidding me,,,

Does it mean you should slag the guy of because of it at every opportunity.....well each to their own I guess...

Agreed, lets debate the selections, I cant find sence in them either?

But c'mon Geo, the ongoing threads of Sheens Bashing is becoming rediculous. Just look at Rons original post…Please!!!

whats wrong with my OP? did i make up a bunch of unthruths?

Considering that Tim Sheens is about to coach his 600th game you could make a case for him to be the next immortal. Discuss.

Joh Bjelke Petersen was Qld premier for 20 years…..quantity doesnt always = quality, nor make it right

Thats SIR Joh Ink. A win today and I suggest we knight Tim.

Failure tomorrow will prove that the Roosters were better than us on the day.

Any team that loses both its first choice halfback and fullback will struggle. E.g. Melbourne Storm moved the Aussie rake to half during Cronks absence. Go figure, other premiership winning coaches do what Sheens has done in situations to compensate for injuries, particularly when choice No.3 halfback (Tomato) is also injured.

For all those wanting Sheens sacked, I hope your resume was handed in the last time the Wests Tigers were looking for a coach. If not, your input as coaches means didley squat and you might as well scream at a wall. I would have imagined these same people were bagging Sheens and Fitshenry in 2005 and jumped on the bandwagon when that roll started.

Your tune will change once this gifted team gets its act together and gets its bit of luck with injuries. Until then, the true supporters have to put up with this relentless negative dribble.

yeah but they still won their games thats down to good coaching (and cap rorting) but still good coaching, we make all these radical changes and produce crap football, all im saying is if sheens is going to persist with these abnormal selections then he has to get the team performing or fall on his sword

Ricky Stuart won a premiership with a team that had a few stars within in it the Roosters, but is he a good coach I think not! No players NO result! Would Bellamy be able to turn the sharks around without his Superstars I THINK NOT! His cattle has a lot to do with his results but without the extra money at his club he would not be as successful as he apparently is because his cattle wouldn't be there?

yes well, I'm not too sure he even got out on the field…

I'm so over how badly the bench is used and it's selection

woeful and such a waste

thankfully Lui will be back next game, here's hoping things gel better…. I can't hope for a better bench cause I don't think that will ever happen

One area that i think Sheens' falls down in (besides team selction) is that he gives the players too much to think about. Ive often heard how simple Wayne Bennett keeps things, and to me, Sheens is the opposite. Just little things that are not needed. For example today, Waters fed the scrum, knocked it on and then packed in at hooker. Why the switch? And the positions when we pack a scrum constantly change from scrum to scrum. The hooker/half/lock will be different each time. Now i know its only minor, but its just an example of over complicating things when we just need to keep it simple. These are footballers, so lets keep it simple Tim.

the constant reshuffling of the side has seen this one phenominal attacking team become one of the worst attacking teams, for us to only put on 1 try today 1 try verse the bulldogs and 3 against a panthers side who dont know the meaning of the word tackle showns the lack of cohesion this team currently has.

but out of the last 3 performances todays was the most disturbing, the roosters were terrible and thats a compliment, a team with any sense of cohesion would of scored 40 against them today, a team well coached would of put 40 on them today, offensively we are looking no better then the sharks,

Farah at 7 DOESNT WORK, he was so crap today playing half back i was embaressed to see such a great player nullified by dumb coaching.

5 years in a row is coming closer every game

bennet has a game plan that suits his players, sheens tries to make the players suit the game plan

FFS can we get 1 game where we have a 4 man bench we actually USE and not have everyone playing 3 positions a game!?!?

Agree with you 100%… today was the worst performance i have seen in quite some time. No cohesion in attack, tried to spread the ball to much, roosters just kept sliding, Fitzy is useless, Farah at 7 is no go.. bring in a HALFBACK not a makeshift... 1 prop on the bench with 2 backs is a no go.. absolutely STUPID... Brown didnt even get a run and Waters is no first grader. Sheens must go.. end of story, sick and tired of stupid team selections ruining a great team structure.. one injury and we fall into a heap.

It's terrible. It was sad to watch Robbie play like that. Why did Sheens bring up the state cup half to play HOOKER?!?!

The one time he brings up a proper half (Lazzo) he makes him play 4 positions in 1 night. Pick a bloody halfback and play him where he belongs.

yeah I think that's the main difference between them too

after 5 rounds we were the most devestaing attacking team in the comp now we are on par with the sharks….bravo sheens job well done

In the past month…........

Robbie has played half and hooker.

Lazo played half, wing and fullack.

Beau has played full back and wing.

Fulton has played hooker, second row and lock.

Benji has spent time at 6 and 7.

Your 1, 6, 7 and 9 determine your entire structure. Sheensy has just slaughtered it for us.............again.

Hey Ronald I was wondering were you got to.

Didn't you not read the betting thread for this game mate.

Why don't you back your big mouth up with your wallet
