Failure tomorrow will prove sheens incompetence as coach

If the Wests Tigers lose the game tomorrow, it will prove nothing.

We're all Wests and Balmain fans come together to support the Wests Tigers. You're preaching to the wrong crowd if you wish to talk about our club team's losses.

How many years has either side of the joint venture endured since its last premiership prior to 2005 or its premiership before that.

We endure and go on, that's who we are.

take out his wins in canberra with their uber team and its 153 wins from 380 games

28 wins from 105 games

43 wins from from 98 games with penrith

82 wins from 177 games with the tigers

he has the lowest win %age of coaches with 180+ wins
\
\
he had a good run at canberra with an uber stacked team, this is probably the best team he has had to coach since then and cant even manage to get a 50% win ratio

 see that why i like stats so much…..take out this leave in that to suit just about anything you like...

Should we take out all Bellamy's wins with his uber 1 million dollars over the salary cap teams.....

Constructive criticism is one thing but I am really over the death riders for Sheens,Fitzy etc. Please start your own website and sate each other's negativity.

I am with Ron and Ink,Sheens has made another stupid team selection,to go with the countless ones in the last 4 years,he needs to take some ownership for these incompetent team selections.

if we win hes a genious, if we lose it "oh we were forced that way with injury", the man accepts no responsibility for lack of results and it comes from the board who are too afraid to make him accountable.

3 years with morris in the halves, fitzy getting a walk up start in the team farah at HB fulton at hooker moltzen at fullback, a winger filling a bench spot, consistantly playing 95% of games with 16 players, picking lazarus at half back then playing him at fullback wing and centre

with moves like this no wonder we only have a 40% win ratio under sheens 82/177 and in that one year we won 20 odd games (including finals) so weve managed just over 60 wins in 6 and 1/4 years with sheens at the helm when you exclude the premiership year.

Failure tomorrow will prove that the Roosters were better than us on the day.

Any team that loses both its first choice halfback and fullback will struggle. E.g. Melbourne Storm moved the Aussie rake to half during Cronks absence. Go figure, other premiership winning coaches do what Sheens has done in situations to compensate for injuries, particularly when choice No.3 halfback (Tomato) is also injured.

For all those wanting Sheens sacked, I hope your resume was handed in the last time the Wests Tigers were looking for a coach. If not, your input as coaches means didley squat and you might as well scream at a wall. I would have imagined these same people were bagging Sheens and Fitshenry in 2005 and jumped on the bandwagon when that roll started.

Your tune will change once this gifted team gets its act together and gets its bit of luck with injuries. Until then, the true supporters have to put up with this relentless negative dribble.

.
good post.
frustration/dis-appointment is hard to control, as we simply just want the team to win and make the finals.

I dont think there is a Pro Sheens Faction?

We dont mind debating individual thoughts, but a few of you have dragged this on too long. It finds its way into every thread? C'mon…

There is alot of frustrating things happening, but we really want to debate positives for the WESTS TIGERS, and cheer the boys on to the Finals this year...
:sign:

Watto….this is nothing new...with every loss the frustration of the past spills over into the present....

Are Sheens decisions open to critisism and debate ....Yes of course they are....I mean a rookie Prop, a secondrower asked to play Prop, an average back and a State Cup debutant on the Bench.....Are you kidding me,,,

Does it mean you should slag the guy of because of it at every opportunity.....well each to their own I guess...

Watto…look at the thread title.

Theres plenty of other threads about the team, the players, the grounds etc

Agreed, lets debate the selections, I cant find sence in them either?

But c'mon Geo, the ongoing threads of Sheens Bashing is becoming rediculous. Just look at Rons original post…Please!!!

What's wrong with Ron's original post? I think it's spot on.

Re: the original post/thread title.
I think the result today is largely irrelevant, the fact is he continues to play players out of position, selects ordinary benches…all stemming from pretty average recruitment....no lessons seem to have been learnt from past mistakes.

I believe coaches shouls only be at clubs for a certain period, both players and coaches can become complacent, find a comfort zone, new challenges are harder to find with the same person issuing the same instructions....stale is an apt term.

But Im just a wanker that knows nothing, not a true supporter....despite being a paid up member following this team and its predecessor for almost 40 years people coming on here and throwing that crap around makes me angry.

Why is my pov no more valid than anyone else with an opposing view?
Ive dragged this on too long?
I think missing the semis has gone on for far too long...I wont change my opinion because others dont like it....dont enter the thread if youre easily offended

yeah but they still won their games thats down to good coaching (and cap rorting) but still good coaching, we make all these radical changes and produce crap football, all im saying is if sheens is going to persist with these abnormal selections then he has to get the team performing or fall on his sword
