OFFICIAL Fainu Brothers.

Seriously, what is fox sports' problem with the Tigers? It's now so far beyond my thinking "it's just because I'm a Tigers fan I think they're harsher on them...".

I mean they get sht for not being able to attract anyone. They get sht about internal tensions re recruitment. They get sht about everything.

Now it's the reportedly $4M combined, 4 years for both boys they're getting it for.

It's ridiculous.

The cap is currently at $13M isn't it? Each will be on 1/26th of the cap next year if it stays the same. They are 2 players, not one ffs!

Who knows what it'll be in 2027?

Each one could become great. If they do, as it stands, the Tigers will have 2 pivotal players who'd had a $500k average for the 4 seasons (I'm sure the contracts would be back ended).

If the 5/8th does become a good nrl 5/8th, does anyone think any other good 5/8th in the comp is going to be on $500k?!

And $500k for a good second rower... again, it could turn out an absolute stroke of genius by the Tigers.

They could both turn out to be total duds: I DON'T CARE!!

I would much rather they spent $1M per season on these two than the $1M Brooks has been using up. I applaud the club on finally breaking free of Brooks and investing that same amount in the Fainus.

But that's not the narrative. No, it's not the swapping of two promising young players (who play in two very important positions) for the same amount they've had a life return on from Brooks: It's "Tigers slammed for desperate ploy...".

If it were the Roosters the headline would be along the lines of "Roosters swoop in to nab promising brothers...".

It's so tiresome and eye-rolling. They just don't let up.

Thank you 😊,,exactly how i feel.. hooper needs to get over his daddy issues with Pascoe and move onto lying about other clubs with anonymous sources

Yeah it's not good that Manly can't control their players. Lucky they're coming to our wholesome family club.
This has to be a Hooper article. What a coincidence the Dolphins decided they didn't want the brothers on the exact same day the brothers told them they weren't interested.
Let's be smarter than to be baited by this rubbish.

'Killed it' Is a fair stretch....
You mean he was one notch up from his usual garbage?

He still had hands like feet, And zero desire to get to the ball/contest.
One of us was watching a different game , I got the games on foxtel I will go back and watch

Why isn’t Sione getting NRL game time? When Madge signed him he wanted Sione for the NZ team but he chose to play for Tonga.
He’s 22 now and hasn’t played in 1st grade for the wooden spooners? The younger brother Latu has said Sione is the best of all 4 brothers. Something doesn’t sound right?

That's exactly when they'll completely let you down again. I've seen how this movie ends!
Yoss you have been supporting the club way too long. Just when you are convinced we are finally heading in the right direction they will turn around and self destruct again… Sadly it is bedded in their DNA.

In saying the above it’s hard not to have some optimism after the events of the last couple of days

Let's hope this signing doesnt end like the Suli example, as an 18 yo he was signed on a record amount of $1.3m. As a 19 yo he was released and off to Bulldogs.

He hasn’t impressed.

Doesn’t look fit enough to me.

One key point for me to come out of it is that Samuela was Captain of the Under 19 Blues. I had not known that. Must at least be respected and have leadership qualities and some maturity. If there was an incident I hope he learns from it, but as others have said we need forwards that are not to be messed with.

What are the Fainu brothers being paid by the Tigers assuming they come
Fox said 500k each over 4 years 4 mill total
This forum earlier reported half that 250k 2 mill total for both
Now I read 1.3 mill total each 2.6 mill for both
Given Latu has not played NRL yet and Samuela has 5 NRL games under his belt so I hope its the lower figures .
Does anyone know if we are offering contracts to Wakeham ,Staines and Laurie all as yet unsigned for 2024 ?
Wish we could land Croft and if not Sezer we must have at least one experienced half
