Farah calls in cops over vile tweet

This is where i stand on it, I don't see how you can get offended by words on a screen that were written by someone you don't even know? In Robbies case its probably a little different being that his mother passed so recently, but I think jail terms like many on here are saying is a little harsh

Dermo, I think you've misinterpreted what I was getting at. I was referring to the fact that the spontaneous nature of the first tweet enhanced it's potency whereas this clown has come in second best with some half-arsed insult and has been blown off by Farah. Moreover, the dope has his name readily displayed on his account and has a picture of him with a bong which would suggest the bloke is a clear idiot displaying himself with drug paraphernalia.

If Farah deems this just as offensive as the other, I don't blame him for referring it to the police either. I was speculating that it would appear from Robbie's response to this goose that he is better prepared to deal with any further offensive comments made toward him.

That's what I alluded to in the first instance. It was probably the first time he'd copped such a personal barb. The person that had a crack at him also knew exactly how to break him, and that was by using his mother whom which he is still grieving over. I don't blame him for losing it or for reporting it to the police. As it has already been demonstrated by others, it's illegal to use a carrier service to menace an individual, moreso when it is unprovoked.

By the time this second idiot decided to put his billy down long enough to take a less-than-original swipe at Robbie, I would hazard a guess that he has learnt how to best deal with it. I've seen far less about this second troll than the first, and it was mostly Robbie defusing the situation.

O'Farrell is a typical politician. He will use any opportunity to ride an issue to his benefit. What real result will we see out of this? Most likely nothing, but Barry championed the moral high ground and looked good in the papers for a few days.
