Didn't bother asking anyone
Can you imagine how Ayoub would of been over this if they said no to King Robbie , no doubt they would of sued the club for the 15 k
From the press release: Farah didn’t realise the conflict of schedule when he bid for the tickets, **and received clearance from his club Wests Tigers long ago to attend the match**, which will feature half-time entertainment from Coldplay, Beyonce and Bruno Mars.

Farah only went ahead and did it after very early on getting permission from the club - don't make up scenarios
Yes but did he get the clearance before or after be bought the tickets
I'm guessing after , because they wouldn't have said yes otherwise , would they
We could say the same about every situation in life if that is how we are and forever trying to be negative. I have noticed that trend amongst my age guys who have not achieved much in life or have had bad divorces - tall poppy syndrome part of it is called or they are always wanting to prove something.
If your scenario was correct I would have hoped they refused him as he is under contract and contracts work both ways but without any evidence or inside word it is only our evil mind working overtime
@philgood said:Boohoo what an absolute nothing story. Its a nothing match and 1 less chance for Robbie to get injured.

Now its Tall Poppy Syndrome :unamused:
I reckon every one here who doesn't agree with what's Robbie done doesn't have issue with his on field stuff
But he is always causing issues off field and that's the problem
**Players play , end of story They don't get involved in club politics , get involved in coaches being sacked .**
Its funny how you never hear stories about other current champion players getting involved and having coaches sacked , having feuds with CEO's , getting involved with board issues
They just get on with it and if they aren't happy they leave
They let their on field performances speak for themselves

What a load of BS. Grant Mayer was the snake who got rid of Mick Potter and anyone who couldnt see that is kidding themsleves. Potter couldnt even choose his assistant coach and support staff…so what does that tell you?
As for Tim Sheens, well his time was beyond overdue. Im yet to seee any evidence that Robbie had anything to do with his sacking. Sheens even picked Robbie for the Kangaroo tour when he became Aust coach which suggests their relationship was fine. People's BLIND agenda against Robbie is quite amusing

Actually I'd be happy to see all of our top players given the weekend off prior to the season starts. And I think most clubs would agree.
Of all the nothing games the NRL has, this is the most irrelevant of them all.
Why risk Injury to Farah in a game like this. Whether we like it or not, he did the right thing and asked the club. They said yes.
If you are cheesed off with anyone, it should be the club
He asked, they could have said no
Maybe they would rather see one of their top players get a weekend off, than risking an early injury.
@bp tiger said:i am happy he is not playing, all the so called high priced players scream about burn out yet we play this crap game. there is no need for this game, unless u want to play one each for the irish, italians, greeks and all the others who get no headlines, the game is all about P Correctness.
