Farah on Stuart Hitlist

Speculation dermit….thats all we are doing here.

There are two options:

1\. He stays
2\. He goes

I rationally post these both COULD occur...while others blindly & baselessly saying ''dont be silly'' ''hes a tiger for life'' ''blah blah blah'' ....and you question my faith in our (c)s morals?????

Good on ya champ!

This place in unbelievable....try some persepective

You are correct in saying there is a chance he could leave, but you said there is a good chance he will, i disagree with you on that one. I also disagree that saying Robbie will be a one club man is a baseless claim seeing as he named his restaurant after the club and has said he would like to stay here for his entire career

If we miss the semis this year and start bad next year there might be a few more than just farah looking elsewhere.

He will not have to chase the coin….it will be thrown at him in bucketloads.

Anyone saying $$$$$ is no factor is a damned fool.

Take off the black and gold goggles just for a second!!

Faith?? This is business buddy, but as I said before, which you seemed to ignore dermit

He may well stay....but he's a good chance to go as well.

Your talking like Parra will offer him something massive and we will offer him chump change, the club will throw all available money at Robbie and **while it may not be as much as others will offer it will be close**, and considering **Robbie has a profitable business to fall back on when he leaves the game an extra 50 - 100 grand isn't going to make a massive difference**

See….this is the problem the club has.
Attitudes like yours.

Happy to settle for not quite the best

Dont worry about going for the **MAX!**

She'll be right....enoughs enough, as Leisel said "Im happy with 5th"!

:wtf

Please

Us not being able to offer Robbie the same amount of cash as other clubs is not an attitude problem, it is a financial fact. We do not have as much spare money as other clubs but i have no doubt we will spend all available on Robbie

You'd have give double or triple what hes on now to get him to go to that basket case of a club and to play under another temporary coach.

LOL….as I said
Dreamland

"Dreamland" is where the aloof of this forum throw around cryptic comments…. oh wait. :roll

You see, Its basic quality vs quantity champ.

I could go and have had the chance to go to the mining sector and earn triple what I would now doing what I would consider pretty cushy IT work. Trouble is I would see my kids and family probably 2 days a month, which would suck. _(if any of you blokes on here do this for a living I take my hat off to you. I don't know how you do it)_

If we can provide the quality, we won't have to worry about the quantity. Parra pay overs and in the past few years teams liek the sharks and the panthers have paid mega overs for good players.

My biggest concern right now is providing the quality for Robbie to want to stay in. If we get bundled out meekly with Robbie being the standout player and then get off the a crud start next year I do worry that his bags may be packed.

In saying that i'm a Tigers supporter first. If he's in an eels Jersey in 2014, so be it.

Seeing his next contract might be his last (if he accepts a 4 year contract) he should be chasing every last dollar he can get

Football doesn't last forever , and I don't see him getting a commentating gig in the future

I don't ever want to see him leave , but if an NRL side was to offer him 650-700k a season for 5 seasons for example you could understand the clubs reluctance to attempt to counter it

Who needs commentating when you have your own restaurant

Restaurants are a lot of hard work , long hours and little reward when in a competitive market

He might be doing ok now as a player , but after retirement things might change

Whàt makes you think Robbie actually owners the Restaurant? He may only have a small interest in it?

Either way, that wont be a factor in his future decisions and where he ends up playing out his career… The next stage of Robbie's career will pave the way which should see his advisors build 'Robbie Farah' as intellectual property for life after football, not continue to use the 'Tiger'...

People are still basing their opinions on ''he should stay for less because its OUR club"
You are basing your opinion on what **you want** to happen
He owes us nothing
The club owes him bucketloads.

Quality v quantity…says who?

We more than likely would have to offer the BEST in both categories...saying he will accept less for one if we provide more for the other is a fairytale scenario...unfortunately fairytales belong in dreamland.

He SHOULD be getting quality NOW...he's not!

This I agree with.

If he had to decide tomorrow, it would be a choice of the lesser of two evils.

Lets hope Wests Tigers pick up their game by this time next year.

Well if Sheens is still coach it would be in Robbies best interest if the right offer came .
We havent exactly snared any of the top liners to our club whilst Sheens has been the Australian coach have we .At lewast Stuart is getting off his backside and looking to recruit, who is Sheens looking at , o wait we signed Anasta didnt we ,a Souths benchie and a Gold Coast benchie.
I agree with Ink ,too many in here like to settle for second or third or even foufth best .We should be called the WESTS TIGER MEDIORICIES

We dont have to recruit the comp we have lots of good youngsters we tried to sign Luke Lewis he was set to sign. We signed Lote Tuqiri Gareth Ellis Adam Blair and mabe were still after a big signing for this year or mabe leave cash for next year as there are good player on the market for next year.

It's spelt maybe. And we're not chasing anyone else at present.

Bang on Ink.

Who's to say next year that Parra make a challenge for the silverware and look on the up and we languish at the bottom of the ladder with no real ambitions for 2014? It's a romantic notion that footballers will stay on for less money. I think we've all seen enough of Robbie in the media to know that he's a very ambitious bloke and will no doubt have goals for what may well be his last contract in the NRL.

If WT don't look like they will best equip him to achieve his goals, he won't be here, and I wouldn't blame him.

Farah has come out in support of Stuart in todays paper, says Stuart should be origin coach, all the players like him and he has put in place a structure to beat QLD,said how he hopes Stuart can be involved in some capacity even if he isn't allowed to coach.
Sounds like Stuart has been telling Robbie all the things he likes to hear, where as Sheens is just promising getting a halfback, promising results and delivering nothing, including moving Robbie to halfback when we all know how much he hates that,if Robbie leaves Sheens is to be blame, that I am 100% sure of.

I have no doubt Stuart would have a clean out of players at the end of next year, so money won't be a problem. Like everything in life you should look forward so if Robbie has a better opportunity to develop and grow as a player, then he should consider it. Whilst it would be nice from a supporter perspective to keep him, he needs to do what is right for himself.

As Ink said he owes the club nothing.

Breaking my hiatus for 30 seconds to say Robbie will be a tiger for life. Also willow that was a cheap shot at tigersrule4life. Like you have never made a typo??

Now back to my hiatus
